Dark jungle beats I’m a little lost as I never got into the jungle/breakbeat after 92 I went with the Techno vibe with Colin Dale & Favour with Dave Angel & Trevor Rockcliffe and the euro guys Laurent Garnier Sven Vath CJ Bolland Tanith & with the US DJs Derek May Lenny Dee etc. then by 93 the unbelievable Jeff Mills added to that list.
I must be honest, I'm stumped on most of these tunes. I agree that the House Crew track sounds like a mash up. But seriously, I'm at a loss. Pity really they're all bangers I wish I knew I blame old age me! And a crap memory 😱 Great episode Jake. PLUR 🙏❤️
13 honestly sounds like a DJ Crystl b-side. It also reminds me a bit of Special Request's LP Soul Music from about ten years ago. Highly recommend that for a modern twist on that sort of tuneage.
Hello Jake.Sorry to be so familiar as we have not met. I found your channel a few weeks ago and you have lit a fire in me which has been dormant for years. I was one of the original hotsteppers at the Orange, Amnesia and every other dirty little spot in between. Thank you for doing what you do. its special. Love your passion man. How can I I DM you. I own a mountain farm in the high mountain of Cyprus with a sound studio at home. loads of land and accommodation. Would love to collaborate with you sometime. JX

Definitely sounds like the tunes Ratpack used to bang out in their old skool sets, in the early 2000s. There was a good House Crew ‘keep the fire burning’ remix at the time that I can’t bloody find either lol Edit: And that Alieneye ‘Found a Cafe’ was a fave at the time too.
I'm looking for a tune that has the piano riff from Let me show you by K-Klass played alot faster than the original over a pounding techno beat, would have been about 93 by my estimation..
Bloomin’ hell, struggling with these, bit of House Crew Magic Fantasy remix in number 15 and a bit of Rachel Wallace in number 21, absolutely no help whatsoever 😂
Searching for the name of dark jungle track using original predator movie sample? I have it on s Top Buzz Dance Trance tape 1993 but again not sure if that is correct
I reviewed his entire discography, remixes, white labels and unofficial mix, and nothing. I wrote directly to Shades of Rhythm, but without any results.
Hey team, Anyone can help with this one please? Happy hardcore song from 95 ish. Samples O Fortuna, then goes into a piano loop with the lyrics “I know I will love you forever”. Any help would be massively appreciated
@@danallery8207 dunno...I'm not sure about that. It could be a very tight mix, but I'm leaning more towards a New Skool tune using the House Crew samples 🤔🤷

👊❤️❤️
Track 13 must be DJ SS. Very much his style. Cheers as ever Jake. 🫡
Could well be right there Ollie mate

Track 6 unbelievable tune. I want it too and Track 10.
A few people after that one 😎
Tune 8 is Hannibal Lecter - Suicide on Asylum Records pitched up. I think it's been IDed before.
Thanks mate. I may have missed the positive I.D in the original episode 👍
have you thought about sending this list off to billy bunter? this is right up his street, hes probably got all of them any way.
He does visit the channel now and then 👊

Would love to know track 6, what a Tune 😏
Yeah you and a good few others I think 👊
Tune 21 sounds like it could be one of the Remerge mashup releases from the late 2000s or the Remeniscence E.P. on Hindsight from 2001.
Definitely sounds like the tunes Ratpack used to bang out in their old skool sets, in the early 2000s. There was a good House Crew ‘keep the fire burning’ remix at the time that I can’t bloody find either lol

Tune 10 is giving me Chris Liberator / Pablo Gargano / Dave the Drummer vibes, I'll ask around
I think smitten record label
I'm looking for a tune that has the piano riff from Let me show you by K-Klass played alot faster than the original over a pounding techno beat, would have been about 93 by my estimation..
Tune 2 sounds like a tune we all would know, weird that nobody knows that one. I'd like to know what 22 is too.
Bloomin’ hell, struggling with these, bit of House Crew Magic Fantasy remix in number 15 and a bit of Rachel Wallace in number 21, absolutely no help whatsoever 😂
😁 you're spot on with the samples on those two though mate. It may well be that we never locate the actual tunes for those 🤷
I'm sure number 15 was a a remix of a Blame tune that was on those Hard Leaders CD compilations.. remember those?
Searching for the name of dark jungle track using original predator movie sample? I have it on s Top Buzz Dance Trance tape 1993 but again not sure if that is correct
Try 'Mega City 2 - Darker Side Of Evil'
Searchin' myself for a jungleravetrack from '95 , Andy J played it on BreakPirates
The synths are almost the same as Tranceporter - Base
If you get no result here, drop me an email 👊

Tune 12 i thought for a mo was Shades of Rhythm - 'Skies the limit !' 😊
I reviewed his entire discography, remixes, white labels and unofficial mix, and nothing. I wrote directly to Shades of Rhythm, but without any results.
10:32 sounds like The Trooper (pirates mix) by dj Hype but not the rest of Tune 19 🤷♂️
Yeah true mate 👍
8 is Hannibal Lecter - Suicide
Nice one 👊
Tune 18. Haunted by Miyiu?
Do you have a link?...I can't find that 🤔
Track 10 i thought was Lochi - London Acid City at first.. but its not. A similar lower acid line. A remix maybe?
I dont know if this helps but the piano from Tune 21 is from Rachel Wallace - Tell Me Why, so maybe check the whosampled page for that song?
I think track 15 is two tracks mixed together. One of them could be The House Crew - We Are Hardcore (or a remix of it)
Im still searching for track 13!!!
Me too. Heard it many a time but no idea what’s is called!
😀👊
👍
Think I'm wrong but nine could be insecure maniac lay all your love.
Sounds like an abba sample
I can't seem to find that tune to check 🤔
TUNE 4 IS DJ Hot Rock - Untitled
TUNE 9 I think you meant...but yes !! you're right ....nice work 👊
Hey team,
Anyone can help with this one please?

Tune 19 sounds very Formation-esq….Tango, EQ, possibly
Def Formation vibe
Yeah does
@@rave-vinyl-reminiscencepossible jonny jungle- flammable remixes ?
close ...but no cigar me thinks 👊
Tune 21 is Rachel Wallace called tell me why
but that’s got to be a mash
It's some variation of that hey 🤔
Hello jake track 15 sounds like a kind of house crew remix or something of we are hardcore
A bootleg no doubt.
@ Yeah i reckon it is theres so many remixes of tracks that sometimes are one offs
Yeah it's something along those lines 👍
isnt it just the We Are Hardcore Magic Fantasy Remix... but mixed with some other drum heavy track?
@@danallery8207 dunno...I'm not sure about that. It could be a very tight mix, but I'm leaning more towards a New Skool tune using the House Crew samples 🤔🤷
Track 12 sounds very similar to Techno Grooves - Return To Eden
Yeah very actually. I've added it to the list in the description simply because it's very close. Might be a remix of that or something?
There you have all the songs that contain the vocal of D-Train and are not:
Powerhouse Inc. - Pressing on
Dee Patten - Techno Abuse E.P.
Techno Grooves - Return To Eden
Shades Of Rhythm - Extacy
Brenda - Sky
Techno-Logik - Sky is the limit
Noise Factory - Rescession time
DJ Doom - A Man Called Doom EP track B1
D.M.S. - Keep On Pressin' On
Beyond - Sky's The Limit
The Nick Jones Experience - The Keys Of Life (For Naeem Johnson)
Hidden Agenda - Pressin' On (Metalheadz)
The Saint - Pink Bananas
@@RILIFEAlso sounds dead similar to one of the remixes of Powerhouse Inc - Pressing On
@@mikemcmahon1970 Thanxx Mike, its similar but it isnt. The bass is diferent, see the remixes and nothing. Another for the list😉
