100% agree with Livin Joy - Dreamer. I bought that single on tape at the time I think in 1996. Knowing 90's dance music as I do Dreamer might have been made with samples. To be honest I can't name any of the other tunes in the video. It's really hard to name a Rave, House or Garage tune unless you've bought it or are a DJ. Pirate Radio stations would rarely tell you the name of a tune.
Loving this channel my friend. I’ve got myself subscribed for the amazing content you’re doing. So much great great music that I hold dearly still. It brings back that emotional nostalgic energy and passion for the music from those early amazing years. Keep it old school and keep them coming. ✌️&❤️. 🕊️🫡🕊️
My mate had this on vinyl back then and there's no info at all on the label. We just called it get raw... Only found out what it was called about 25 years later
Track 3 is 'Gabberhouse' by Wargroover. Somehow I know that one despite not being into Gabber Techno that much lol. That's one of the 4 tracks (5, 7 & 9) i known from this round.
Ah yes i knew it was something like that, i actually have a vinyl rip of this on an old HD, it was driving me crazy trying to find it to help ID it but thanks to you I found it much quicker! 🍻
New to all this and don’t have a sound clip. After the name of a tune with, what I think’ are the lyrics. It was on an old mix tape circa 1993, sadly long gone. Seem to think it was DJ Hype or could have been DJ SY (I know others will have played it, obviously) Lyrics (or close to) feel the rhythm in my soul...ohoh i let the rhythm take control...ohoh so wont you take me away take me away, take my soul so wont you take ma away take me away, let me know Thanks all
My mate in Aus suggested this as it has the vocal you described.... ua-cam.com/video/YpvuC7AsPsw/v-deo.htmlsi=a7yhCEFLsXdr0LH9 Not sure SY and Hype would've played this though 🤔
Ah, yes - definitely them lyrics and singer, but what I had was either a different mix or sampled by someone else (or mixed by DJ) - I remember it being a lot faster and more akin to what SY would play (definitely SY, I remember now). Thanks so much for the quick reply 👌🏻
God, just listening to them vocals transports me back to the summer of ‘93 - this was released in ‘92 by the looks of it, so must have been an old mix tape. I’d just been dumped by my long time GF, got into Rave and didn’t look back - turned out to be a banging summer. The memories released by music is immense 😊
3 & 4 actually sound very familiar but my forgetful brain just cant remember either. No help at all I know but with the trigger happy tv one im pretty sure there's a UA-cam and spotify playlist with every track played on the show, if they can find that im sure through trial and error they'll find it, i dont have the time now unfortunately but i might be able to listen to it tomorrow and try find it. *3 sounds like something from the many terrordome comps out there or something similar, ive probably got it but just can't remember😂 👍
@palmlifeuk3553 Ah OK, well at least that natrows it down and saves me having to go through the playlist, as it's pretty big, I'll have a look a bit later see what i can find, I might be able to find it on a music database like musicbrainz or something similar, ill let you know if i can or cant find it. 👍
@palmlifeuk3553 unfortunately cant find anything on it, its possible its just an instrumental created by the shows producer solely for a transition, if thats the case youd probably have to hunt them down and ask them? Sorry, i cant be much more help im afraid. 🤷🏻♂️
Love this You Tube Channel brings back so many good memories❤️ Now that there is nearly 7k subscribers someone must know a chune that has been going round my head for nearly 30 years 👍 A little long winded but here I go , At the end of Terminator 2 film when the end credits roll the music played was sampled and mixed with a great beat back in 1991/2, I had recorded it on tape from a pirate station in Luton called pressure Fm a long time ago which is now lost 😢 Does anyone know what or who made this Tune and has anyone heard it , Thanks ✌️❤️
@@jamielaw3881 Both films have the same melody in the end credits after checking them (unless you're talking about the Guns n Roses bit that kicks in on T2 after a while lol). It's definitely the same melody on NRG Unity anyway. Although it does sound like they have replayed the melody themselves rather than sampling it. There were samples from the first film (gun shop scene, not the melody) on a different release by NRG called Terminator.
Was in 1996 at visage nightclub Doncaster and a tune was played by the dj it was so good I asked what it was ne said its a bootleg version,it was bbe 7 days one week mixed with Maria makhey show me heaven it was so good but have never heard it again please Tey and replicate it please it sounds soooooii goooooid 😊
I've got a couple of unknown 'rave' tunes although I'd class them as trance perhaps, both from May 1991 taped off pirate radio. They are possibly related to each other because they both use samples from the film Aliens. One uses "They mostly come at night... mostly" and the other tune uses "you now have 15 minutes" with the alarm sounds as well. I have failed to find them so far. Any ideas?
@SlenderContent thanksl. I am buying all the vinyl from.a radio mix on sunset fm iManchester, summer 1991 (808 state show) May have been Mixfactory on the decks Record know ordered! Only one more vinyl to buy.....£££
I doubt this is worth a proper request as i bet someone will know it just from the description. Popular tune 93 I think. Pitched up female vocal let the music let the music let the music just take control then Pianos and a come selecta sample. Possibly Slammin vinyl or Knite Force very much that sound ???
Dream Frequency track 1. Ian Bland & he’s still going today in Scotland doing some old school events. It’s actually on The Book of Love Amnesia house event on UA-cam. 1992 live set as they were the PA that night. Somebody got the name of the track before me. 👍
Ask Ramos what 8 & 9 are. I was in a fb conversation with someone asking about a track Ramos played and he joined in but couldn't remember, but did like it... Until another og dj (can't remember who) came into the conversation and reminded him it was one of his own, unreleased tracks!😂
Great work everyone...see description section for results so far👍
Tune 2 third clip sounded like Livin Joy - Dreamer
Yup that is what I have it as. It's either sampled to hell or it sounds terrible lol.
Definitely Dreamer by Livin Joy but whether it's a booty or the original is anyone's guess 🤷🏻♂️
