    It's time for me to reveal the E True Hollywood Secrets that I (and all filmmakers) use to get beautiful Hollywood-style images and film as quickly as possible.
    The secret?
    1) Buy as expensive of a camera as you can. Ignore all the settings and capabilities of the camera to capture a quality image and go for price! (Cause higher price = more cinematic!)
    2) Shoot in Log and don't grade it (cause it's cinematic!)
    3) When in doubt, slap an orange and teal LUT on it (cause it's cinematic!)
    Today let's break down three of the biggest reasons why filmmakers (and other artists) struggle, and how to get out of that place - while still creating amazing and beautiful work - for good!
    In all seriousness though, let's talk about what it REALLY takes to make a beautiful, cinematic, Hollywood-style video.

    Can I please get your opinion on something? I've seen so many people rave about how amazing the Sony G master 24mm wide angle lens is, but I don't recall seeing anyone talk about the G master 35mm. And I have a feeling a 35mm is going to work better for my needs. I just got my A7IV and want to get a really good lens, but it's going to be my only really good lens for the time being so I want to make sure it's going to be versatile enough for what I need. I get occasional paid gigs doing birthday parties, family photos, etc. but I don't go searching for jobs so it's pretty rare. My main need is to start filming music videos for my own music.
    Can I get away with using the 24mm to do all my performance shots and b roll for rap music videos? Or am I right that a 35mm would do way better? And have you heard anything on the 35mm G master? It's just as expensive as the 24mm, so I'm hoping it is just as good.
    Thanks!

      I don’t have any experience with those g masters but I’ve heard they’re really nice. Quality isn’t going to be an issue. It just comes down to what focal lengths you need. 24 is pretty wide, especially on full frame. But it depends on the look you’re going for

    • @seriosmusic
      @seriosmusic 2 роки тому

      @@EricThayne I wouldn't mind pretty wide on some shots, but I think because it's going to be my primary lens until I can save up a few months, I'm thinking having a 35mm is going to be more durable.

    Just found your page and would recommend putting something in the comments to make the troll more obvious, because I almost didn't make it past tip 1 because it was so cringeworthy (the comments told me it was april fools joke). You can't see the date on the video just how many months/years ago it posted. So new people will just think you don't know what you're talking about and won't wait 3 minutes to find out. I only leave this comment to try to be helpful. Ultimately, its your page so you have to do what you think is best. Good luck man.
