I wish someone made a mod that let you bring wheatley though levels. He can’t be emancipated in base game but will disappear after a map change. It’d be funny to see a run where you bring every wheatley to the end

I would always use Wheatley in the companion cube chamber just to block the lasers. I kinda feel old knowing that people don’t know these little secrets in portal.
It's entirely possible to beat the Companion Cube chamber without having the cube ever touch the laser thanks to this. If you position Wheatley right when dropping him he can act as a cube and block the laser, letting you easily bring the Companion Cube to the higher part of the chamber and ultimately beating it.
