    Cette interprétation est tout simplement PARFAITE 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤ les musiciens sont superbes, les tempi, idéaux, l’hautboïste arrache des larmes par la simple beauté de sa sonorité. Ce soprano, en plus d’être une très belle femme, chante et interprète avec une telle joie et perfection technique, sans maniérismes, qu’on ne peut être qu’à ses pieds. Et bravo pour le par cœur, ça change tout de voir la joie dans votre visage et le message directement exprimé.
    Vous surclassez toutes les interprétations que je connais de cette sublime musique. Chapeau bas!

      Serious props to the cellist! I heard the soprano as too emotional and warm, perhaps needing to take it down a notch with the flutter vibrato, IMO. Maybe IMO a more theatrical voice suited to Handel?

    • @jasonhurd4379
      @jasonhurd4379 2 роки тому

      @@DonVueltaMorales Interesting. To my ear, the vibrato is ideal, not obtrusive; and if anything, Miss Sampson could have been even more theatrical, a quality which is eminently suited to both the sacred and the secular cantatas of J.S. Bach. I should be sorry to think that his music should be to any extent cold and emotionless, as your comment seems to imply that it should. This is, after all, a cantata celebrating a wedding, and a warmer and more emotional event would be difficult to imagine. Forgive me if I have misunderstood your comment.

    • @DonVueltaMorales
      @DonVueltaMorales 2 роки тому

      @@jasonhurd4379 A "wedding" as in the spiritual union of the soul and Jesus ("as Christ loved the Church"). Bach's audience in Leipzig would probably not have been exposed to too many Italianate operatic singers and probably been a bit behind the stylistic curve of Vienna, Dresden, or Hamburg. The Germans themselves were the _Singspiel_ people who didn't have a desire to hear full-blown opera in their own language. I guess those are my bases for wanting to hear this a bit plainer. I think the vibrato, especially at the ends of some phrases, sounds almost like an improvised ornament. And the recitatives might also have been more direct. But, I'm being picky, and in reality, I mean, what's not to like about the Bachstiftung?

    "Weichet nur, betrübte Schatten" (littéralement traduit par "Disparaissez maintenant, ombres lugubres") est une cantate sacrée de Johann Sebastian Bach. La cantate a été composée pour le troisième jour du Festival de Pâques de Leipzig en 1725 et a été jouée le 2 avril de cette année.
    La cantate est structurée en onze mouvements, dont une sinfonia d'ouverture (une introduction instrumentale), sept arias (solos) pour différentes voix, deux récitatifs (passages ressemblant à des discours) et un choral final. Le texte de la cantate a été écrit par Georg Christian Lehms et reflète l'histoire pascale de la résurrection de Jésus-Christ et sa signification spirituelle pour les croyants.
    La cantate s'ouvre sur une sinfonia joyeuse et triomphale, qui donne le ton pour le reste de l'œuvre. Les airs et récitatifs suivants explorent divers aspects de l'histoire de Pâques, tels que le chagrin des disciples lors de la crucifixion, l'émerveillement et la joie des femmes qui ont découvert le tombeau vide, ainsi que l'espoir et le réconfort que la résurrection apporte aux croyants.
    La musique de Bach se caractérise par ses mélodies expressives, ses harmonies riches et son contrepoint complexe. Les airs présentent une ornementation élaborée et des lignes vocales virtuoses, tandis que l'accompagnement instrumental est souvent complexe et très expressif.
    "Weichet nur, betrübte Schatten" est considérée comme l'une des cantates les plus importantes de Bach et est fréquemment jouée et enregistrée aujourd'hui. C'est un chef-d'œuvre de la musique sacrée baroque et un témoignage de la maîtrise de la composition de Bach.

    Da kommt richtig Partystimmung auf! So stell ich mir eine Hochzeitsfeier in der Geriatrie vor: klingt wie direkt aus der Casa Verdi. Damit ist nicht das durchwegs ältere Publikum, sondern vor allem die Solistin (wohlgemerkt: nicht ihr Erscheinungsbild) gemeint: Da klingt der Text «Sich über im Lieben, im Scherzen sich herzen …» etc. wie eine Persiflage. Vielleicht gibt es ja wirklich noch ein erfülltes Liebesleben im stimmlichen Alter. Mit Bach hat dies allerdings nichts zu tun!!!

      It's a real party atmosphere! So I imagine a wedding celebration in the Geriatrie: sounds like directly from the Casa Verdi Milano. This doesn't mean the older audience, but the soloist (not her appearance): The text «Sich üben im Lieben, im Scherzen sich herzen ...» etc. sounds like a persiflage. Perhaps there really is still a fulfilled love life in the vocal age. But this has nothing to do with Bach!!
