Hey I have a question for Kendall. I heard in another video that you have a high arc and run a custom insole and I am in the same boat wondering what you pair with your Nevada's to fit your foot?
Trevik - I'm a big fan of the Columbia Montrail Enduro and have used them for 12 + years. They make it in a hiking version (dark blue) and a trail running version (yellow) which is a little thinner and less volume. I've also used a couple of options from SOLE as well as a big fan of the Superfeet Max Comfort (dark green with orange gel pad for the heel), but my go to is the Montrail Enduro. For the dollar and because I have insoles in most all my shoes and boots so I don't have to swap out, for me it makes much more sense than dropping $250 on a Sheepfeet or other custom orthotic that I would need to swap out from my daily wearing shoes to my hunting boots.
So I just got off the phone with one of their customer service and trying to find information about a boot being prior military I was told military and police law enforcement receive a 10% discount and also guide companies receive a 30% discount which seems completely backwards because if it wasn't for the military you wouldn't be able to sell this boot and Market this boot the way that you are a highly think people should look in to how many military personnel are actually Hunters not how many UA-cam channels can show off a product because it was given to them. Until this is resolved I will not purchase this boot or anything else from this company it's merely principle. And absolutely I would love to have someone from this company call me to straighten out this matter.
Travis - we offer a deeper discount to guides for our hunting specific boots because they work in the hunting industry using those boots specifically for their work. On our military/duty boots we offer a deeper discount to active law enforcement and active duty military who will again use those boots specifically for their work. Hunting guides do not get the discount on military boots but active law enforcement and active military are extended a discount on hunting boots as an expression of our gratitude for service. Hope that clarifies our approach to saying "thank you" to each group of individuals who's needs are met by the various boots Crispi offers.
