- The Celtics defeated the Lakers tonight in Los Angeles by a final score of 120-107 for their 3rd consecutive win. Kyrie Irving tallied 30 points (12-18 FG, 5-8 3pt FG), 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks for the Celtics, while Marcus Smart added 16 points, 5 assists and 2 steals in the game. LeBron James recorded his 7th triple-double of the season and 80th of his career with 30 points (13-23 FG), 12 assists and 10 rebounds in the losing effort. The Celtics totaled 32 assists on 48 made field goals and shot 51.6% from the floor as a team. With the win, the Celtics improve to 41-26, while the Lakers fall to 30-36 on the season.

Some comments here are ridiculous. Lebron haters will always have a reason to complain. If he doesn’t get good numbers, he sucks. If he does, he’s stat padding. Man had a triple double in 25 min with 30 points at the end. Injuries and trade talks sidelined the season, even if it didn’t they would have lost in the playoffs and people would still complain. after going to the finals 8 straight times and in the playoffs like 14 straight times, acting like 1 bad year defines that whole career.
He was in the weak east with stacked teams 😒 this is the real Lebron, no Wades, Kyries at his side, just alone and in the west.

It sucks how the lakers season turned out. Lakers have been my team since I was born and lebron has been my favorite player since the first day I saw him play. I’m so happy that he’s on the lakers and without injuries it would have been nice to see where they turned out. Before everyone was injured they were in the 4th seed. without injuries and also the whole trade drama that pretty much destroyed team chemistry they could have made a good push. Hope next season turns out better!

It's just unfortunate how this particular basketball season for L.A. Lakers have turned out because there's still L.A. Lakers' athletes playing with great effort and intensity. Not to mention basketball injuries that offset momentum in winning basketball games, on-court playing chemistry, and basketball rotations.
The first step in the rebuilding process was complete by acquiring Mr. James (which is probably the most important step in the process). There's still time in the rebuilding process to acquire athletes to win basketball games and I'm very confident the L.A. Lakers will do just that with continued roster upgrades.
With athletic sports, winning cures all problems and complaints!
