@@cloudunderweather9554 that's why I don't understand why people just automatically skip over Bean for the G.O.A.T. convo. The comp was on another level.
@footballfanaticusaf7791 I have a theory about that... even though kobe did something incredible, going to 3 straight finals with an average crew, it didn't feel dominant. When Jordan won 6 rings? Dominance. It was the bulls then everyone else. When Bron was walking through the weak east? He seemed dominant. Kobe beat all these amazing teams but it didn't feel dominant ... because those teams were freakin good! And it's hard for people to remember how good those teams were... cause they didn't win titles. Kobe or Duncan beat them.
@@cloudunderweather9554 when you put it like that it makes sense bra. Quick question? Had Kobe beat the Celtics that year I think it's 08' would people consider it more or talk about it more?
@footballfanaticusaf7791 of course. There's 2 reasons why. 1, kobe would have seemed like a demon to have kept the big 3 Celtics from EVER winning a ring. And 2, he would have a career so similar to Jordan people wouldn't be able to ignore it. 6 championships, 2 3-peats, making him the laker that brought the most chips to their franchise? It changes a lot of narratives. He would be 6 for 7 in the finals. That's big.
Denver had two HOF players, 2 top 75 players, 3 All-Star players, and one DPOY in Marcus Camby, and still lost Kobe who had one All-Star player and zero top 75 players.

If you ever wondered why iverson never won a ring …it’s simple really…. Kobe Bryant
Same applies to Melo and T-Mac
@@Jm3rv TMac never even got to Kobe...he was out in round 1
Rip kobe and gigi❤❤
Crazy how Kobe defeted Iverson twice with and without shaq. Second time Iverson had Melo, Martin, Camby. 😬🤯
And jr smith
Funny how yall act like Kobe was by himself. Pau had 36 and 16 in this game😂😂😂
Kobe fadeway middy will bring tears of joy to your eyes🔥🔥
Melo with braids was a menace back then
He was a different breed one of a kind, his mind was special
That Denver team was stacked.
MVP forever. R.I.P. Mamba
Throwback🙏🏀🔥🔥
I missed Kobe8/24❤
He's the main reason why i am playin
Just amazing mid-range scorers. I really miss the 2000s style of basketball.
Yo…THANK YOU FOR THIS PAGE MY BROTHA🙏🏽💯
When NBA games 🏀 was actually watchable!!
This was beautiful to watch...
Oh how I miss being in my twenties looking at these games. I think LA would have 3 peated (08,09,10) if Bynum and Ariza weren’t hurt
This is when the NBA was real
Them baby blue jerseys looks way better than their jerseys we're seeing now
dis crazy bru thank u sm
If Iverson and Melo had stayed together and gelled plus a better defensive supporting cast then i see them atleast appearing in one of those finals from 2007-2012 i think Melo extends Iverson career past 2010 n Iverson in turn makes Melo stay longer than he did.
Dude that team had Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby for defense how much more defense needed
NBA is a script
To still be able to watch sht like this 🔥 the small things
Dam this shit crazy, Lakers ain't play no defense outside of Kobe & still had almost a 20 point lead over a Nuggets team that had Melo, AI, JR, Kleiza, who played defense in these clips
iverson and melo were crazy but Kobe really did that
J R Smith was the best 3 point shooter at around this time and George Karl Refused to play him.
Iverson averaging 35 in todays NBA. I really think he would. Analysts can say what they want he want, he’s one of the best scorers ever
50-32 record as the 8th seed wtf!
yeah the west was rough
That's big.
i played Walton in HS. Kobe lived by me. Crazy
Damn denver 50 wins in 8th seed wtf
The West was super competitive back then
I was at that game they gave away the mvp poster when kobe won that year i still have it
Denver had two HOF players, 2 top 75 players, 3 All-Star players, and one DPOY in Marcus Camby, and still lost Kobe who had one All-Star player and zero top 75 players.
only kobe fans keep using the top 75 list as a barometer to diminish how good pau gasol was, nasty behavior smh
@@fearofsaturn facts
@@fearofsaturnwho’s leaving gasol out. He was a heat all star. Not a superstar like u casuals try to put him at. He averaged 18 ppg and that’s all Kobe needed to win with.
@@fearofsaturn nobody diminished anything. He is not top 75, that is a fact
@@Jeazzy24 lmao why would a casual overrate pau gasol?
We gotta stop giving Phil Jackson so much credit he had arguably 3 of the top 5 greatest players ever MJ,Kobe,Shaq
