for Katie and Sadie, my issue with them isn't even with the characters, but with the writers themselves. their friendship was honestly kinda toxic and they didn't give Katie and Sadie any special personality traits, Sadie's label is literally "the sweet girl's (Katie's) friend", so a good way to take their characters could've been that Katie always gets the spotlight and then when Katie gets eliminated, Sadie could've branched out and made more friends and allies. Maturing is realizing Katie and Sadie's friendship was kinda toxic (both sides but you get what i mean)
I feel that Katie and Sadie are great when they’re together but they can only function as a pair. They really should’ve just been eliminated in a double elimination instead of stringing Sadie along unnecessarily for 3 more episodes.
And they could've explored something along those lines if they'd brought them back to the Ridonculous Race. Maybe they could grow up to see their friendship is not as beneficial as it sounds like and try to fix it through the season. Oh, well
I hear you, but I personally liked Sadie enough that I would rank her above Katie. 'Cause there really was that vibe that Katie was kinda holding Sadie back, and the show really fumbled the ball on what could have been a phenomenal character arc. And like, don't get me wrong, I don't like Sadie, but I hate Katie more because in their fight, Katie felt like really demeaning about Sadie's weight and I HATED that.
For me, Sierra is the worst in World Tour because of her constant creepy obsession with Cody. I admit, I liked her when World Tour first came out due to her positive personality and usefulness in some of the challenges, but after rewatching some of the episodes, I remembered how annoying her obsession actually was.
I think she's good until the point when they just completely forget she's a fan of the show and just go full stalker. Her best moments by far are the ones when she leans into the genre savviness (The one that always comes to mind is her immediately clocking that Heather is being nice to her to try to get Sierra to work with her, and not because she's actually being genuine, but going along with it anyways because it means that Heather won't target her).

Duncan may have been bad in All Stars, but he was nowhere near as bad as Courtney and Gwen. Gwen especially, she spent the entire season whining and moaning about 'getting her friendship with Courtney back' and the second she did, Courtney suddenly remembered 'Oh yeah, I've been a bitch this whole season, time to get back to it' and it made the whole plot feel like a waste of time. Not to mention Gwen's breakup with Duncan was forced and out of nowhere, and her treatment of him afterwards led to the torpedoing of his character.
As a fan of all 3 of them, completely agree. Love them all with my whole heart but they were ALL fucked in All Stars 😭😭😭😭 That season literally just ruined everybody, and most of it was just a waste of time , ESPECIALLY Gwen's whole arc about wanting to make things right with Courtney, they literally just threw it all down the drain in a matter of seconds
Courtney especially cause Gwen tried on a bunch of occasions to apologize, while that shouldn’t mean instant forgiveness, Courtney should have at least seen she tried to make amends

5:49 I know this is an unpopular opinion, but off lines alone, I actually liked Stacy. As a character, I feel like the writers wasted their potential, but I could easily tolerate her.
For me, Leshawna was at her absolute worst in World Tour. Don't get me wrong, she was terrible in Action too, but in World Tour, she became not only an unsympathetic simp for Alejandro, but she completely destroyed the budding friendship she began with Heather in Action when Leshawna ATTACKED her mid-challenge in "Slap Slap Revolution", made her lose a tooth, and was even proud about doing so, all for absolutely no reason; Heather did absolutely NOTHING to her this season. She only slapped Leshawna ONCE as part of the challenge, and this was BEFORE she tried to warn Leshawna about Alejandro's scheming because she thought they were still friends and was trying to help her. Leshawna chalked it up to jealousy (which it probably partially was), then attacked her out of nowhere, saying she "had it coming for 3 seasons". First off, Heather was only a bitch in Season 1. She paid her dues already way back when she lost her hair and the respect/trust of the others, and had to build herself from the ground up, actually developing as a decent character at the start of Action, earning her team's trust, actually contributing to the challenges, and was being an overall team player. And what did Leshawna do in Action...? She tricked her team into giving her the reward, then trash talked EVERYONE while she was enjoying it. And who was the ONE person that defended her with no benefit to herself? HEATHER!! She was even eliminated that same episode (when it should've honestly been Leshawna) and actually smiled when Leshawna said she could count her as a friend before she left. Then come World Tour, and that friendship was completely destroyed due to Leshawna completely forgetting what Heather did for her in the previous season and treating her as if she was still her Season 1 self. It's like their roles were reversed after the first season, with Heather going from bad to decent to good, and Leshawna going from good to sneaky to pure trash. And how she went back to Harold after Alejandro kicked her to the curb, just made her a lost cause in my eyes. When that kangaroo knocked her out in the Aftermath, I saw that as karmic justice for Heather. The only thing that could've made that moment better was if she lost a tooth also.
Don't feel bad because Kelly raised Taylor poorly. Dwayne Sr. even pointed out the fact Taylor was never given proper boundaries. Kelly snapped it into gear when she remembered what he said.

I prefer his humor over Owen't any day) Worst: Dave (before he became a simp he was decent. I'm always mad that after Katoie left they didn't give Sadie a mini plot of trying to stand out and get other friends and really come out of her shell. But she doesn't do anything and just exists on the background. Like what's the point? Just do a double elim and get them both out. I like Katir and Sadie and when I was small, I really liked their lost in the woods episode. But yeah, I understand people not liking them. I'm a bit sad that they weren't even considered for Ridonculous Race.
tbh it makes sense for Priya and Julia to make it to final 4 twice, as the Reebot season is technically split in 2 bc CN ordered that, but Terry McGurrin himself kinda confirmed the seaons were thought as a 26 episodes season divided into 13 each. Considering they both are the main characters of the reboot (hero and villain of the seasons), their story continued in season 2. That's why these two seasons have the most continuity out of all TD seasons. This also explains why we have the same cast in the same location for two seasons straight! Both of the series were also created together. I honestly consider both seasons as one bc of all of that
finally someone who recognizes the core flaw of pahkitew island. Those characters were so one-note it was sad. Honestly, my least favorite was sky because she felt like an insult to fans. basically she she seemed to be inspired by mary sues, wheras dave is a mixture of the fan favorites noah and cody. They took a self-insert fanfic writer's dream and made a joke of it. not saying they should've made them live happily ever after or anything, but it felt like a very intentional subversion of tropes done for the wrong reason. then again, it's been years since i've watched it, so... maybe i'm misremembering.

He was amazing in Island though! 7: Staci (Revenge of the Island): Sure, she may be extremely annoying, but we only had to sit through her annoyance for only 1 Episode! 6: Katie and Sadie (Island): Worse than Staci by default because 1, they are 2 characters instead of one, and 2, we had to sit through their annoyance through 6 Episodes, after that, Sadie basically resorted to being a background character until Episode 11! 5: Mal (All Stars): Mike is one of my favorite characters, but even I can’t deny how stupid and unlikable his new personality, Mal was in All Stars! Sure, he did technically get Mike through to the finale, but even though he was implied as being evil, all he really did was break things, that’s it! Worst villain in the whole series! 4: Taylor (Ridonculous Race): She was just an unlikable, annoying character with no redeeming qualities whatsoever! 3: Ripper (Both Seasons of 2023): I really wanted to like Ripper, I really did! But the more I saw of Ripper, the less and less I liked him! He’s gross, a total jerk, and just overall a really bad character! Don’t even get me started on his relationship with Axel! Good god! Well I think you might’ve thought about Sugar when I said that! What I have to do to make my point is lie down on the floor and laugh! I’m sorry, Sugar’s a villain?! 😂 Yeah, Sugar is not a villain! Sure, she’s a bully, but I don’t see anyone calling Ripper a villain for being a bully! In order to classify as a villain, you need to be an actual threat to players in the game, that’s why Alejandro, Heather, Julia, Scott, and the Ice Dancers work so well as villains! Sugar has none of the qualities of a villain! And not only that, she’s the grossest person I’ve ever seen on this show, and that’s saying something! I would’ve at least tolerated her if she was an early boot, but no! She made it to the FINAL 3!! WHY?! And again, she’s not even trying to be a villain, so don’t even think about giving me that excuse! 1: Sierra (World Tour): …I’ll admit, World Tour is a great season, lots of good episodes, great songs, but Sierra, oh boy do I have things to say about her! I hate stalkers, but sometimes we can see good ones, this show has 2 of them done right on the top of my head, those being Izzy and Scary Girl, I like those characters! Sierra though goes so far off the deep end, that she doesn’t become likable at all! Her knowledge of things on this show doesn’t make her come off as smart, it makes her someone that as soon as you see, you need to call 911 immediately! I just felt bad for Cody, and, oh yeah, the show somehow made HER in the right even though she is a stalker! Don’t believe me? After the non elimination round in the Amazon Rainforest, Sierra keeps on crying because Cody voted for her to get the boot, which he was in the right for doing, and Team Amazon makes Cody apologize and cheer her up! I really don’t see what anyone was thinking about writing her character! HOW THE HELL DID SHE MAKE IT TO THE FINAL 4?! Sierra is without question, my least favorite character in Total Drama, without even mentioning how bad she was in All Stars!
Alright, time to defend Millie. If you found her plot uninteresting and predictable, it's fine, I won't put it against you. But I'm gonna say this respectfully, it sure seems like you weren't paying attention, so I'm gonna explain some of your criticisms towards her. • Her high-and-mighty attitude at the beginning is so important to her development. She arrives intending to write a thesis about her generation's lack of intelligence, but as she befriends Priya and develops that bond, she starts growing out of that judgmental nature and decides to scrap her notebook, until it comes back to bite her in the ass, so she has to work to regain Priya's trust, and that's where she accepts that acting the way she did at the beginning messed her up. • "Millie didn't deserve to make final 3, she was just carried by Priya." That's the entire point. Priya explicitly states that she carried Millie when their argument at the end of Episode 12 happens. Millie's supposed to be a subpar player that depends on Priya to get through. That's what makes the blow on both of them more impactful once Bowie drops the notebook. All of Priya's work and effort to train Millie and keep her in the game was (presumably) all in vain, and Millie loses the only friend that she made. • Taking Millie to final 3 was the best play Bowie could've done, because had he dropped the notebook on final 4 and booted Millie, he would have to worry about both Priya (best player in terms of physical game) and Julia (his #1 enemy) in the finale. But by dropping the notebook after getting Julia out and taking Millie to final 3, he can eliminate Priya first, then make quick work of a weakened Millie and take the crown. The only reason as to why he took Priya to final 2 was because she played with his ego. • If her arc extended across both seasons, she'd likely have to make it decently far (at least final 12-10, which isn't very far at all, but knowing this fandom, they probably wouldn't like it) in order for it to not come across as rushed. But even then, if she went into S2 with almost everyone against her, she could either apologize to Priya early on and be eliminated by episode 3-4 (regardless if her apology was accepted or not), or have most of the cast against her and get booted early with an incomplete arc. Criticize Millie's arc all you want, but in my opinion, it is one of, if not the best written character arc in Total Drama, regardless of the lack of entertainment it brought to the table. Damn, that was long.

Actualky the trent 9 thing was made with a sense, in the first season Chris said that he was the 9 contestant to arrive and he said at what numbers of contestants we were just with Trent and he get eliminated and got the 9th placement and sometimes when they stated something they stated 9 and Trent

The only bad thing about Katie and Sadie is theyre under utelized, Sadie kinda had this momentum that she's gonna be important in the episodes even the one Katie gets eliminated in... and then immediately after that gets dropped as a potential storyline, she could've easily became friends with Lindsay (as seen in the phobiafactor episode) and maybe even took Beth's spot in Heather's alliance after she got eliminated (yes theyre on seperate teams but it still couldve worked). A few episodes after the merge, Sadie's and Heather's personalities would rub up against each other, Sadie would get some funny revenge and then get promptly eliminated as a character who still loves her friend but has become her own person without the need to match her bestie in everything

Here are my opinions on the worst ones in each season, except for TDI ‘24: TDI ‘07: Eva. She was way too psychotic. TDA: Courtney. She was way too threatening with the involvement of her lawyers. TDWT: DJ. His animal curse became unfunny when he tried to take himself out of the game just to get rid of it. TDRI: Staci. She was incredibly annoying and wouldn’t stop talking about her ancestors. TDAS: Lightning. It was almost Scott, but Lightning was much less likable than in the previous season. TDPI: Tofer. His idea of usurping Chris wasn’t funny at all. TDRR: Stéphanie. She has a horrible attitude, and I hated the way she treated Ryan. TDI ‘23: Bowie. He did tons of unforgivable things that shouldn’t be allowed, like asking for a revote just so he could get rid of Zee.
I think Katie and Sadie had to be the worst because even characters like Eva and Zeek that are unlikable as people, are at least entertaining to watch. Katie and Sadie were just boring. And that's the biggest crime when you're making a show
Here are my dislikes (as far as I can remember since I stopped watching the show after All-Star): TDI: Katie and Sadie (I completely forgot about them every time I try to remember anything about the show), Heather (while the manipulation and tactics are clever for her, her bitterness and making Gwen and Trent break up was just very low), Geoff DJ and Duncan (only the bullying aspect but otherwise I like them). TDA: Courtney (the show writers made her unlikeable and I was so into her and Duncan's relationship until they made Courtney a bossy girl trying to control his life), Trent (his obsession with the number 9 was very odd *which is funny because he was the 9th contestant to be introduced*), Beth (only for the fact that she ate all the girls gifts that was filled with cookies), Justin (non talking character who is now talking who now is obsessed with people liking him for his looks). TDWT: Sierra (aside from being a much capable person who can build a boat from reeds, and willing to sacrifice her wheelchair for Cody to win, she is creepy towards Cody). TDRotI: Stacy (if she didn't talk too much about her family history and have been more of a team player, she would've been fine), Lightning for both here and next season (Annoying as hell and always put the suffix, "Sha-" in the beginning of his sentences. The only good thing about him is when he knows when fair is fair.) TDAS: Duncan (turned into a soft guy for some reason, probably to soften him up a bit), Courtney and Gwen (it's weird seeing them be together as friends since they've been with the same guy and have no ill-will towards each other, especially for Courtney in WT.) In General: Owen (a walking, food talking, fart time bomb who doesn't know when to stop. I did like his relations with Izzy).
Honestly, I feel like Katie and Sadie would’ve been better characters if their friendship was being tested on the show. Was one of them discovering a little bit of their own identity besides being best friends with each other that’s was thier whole personality.
Finally someone else that agrees Shawn's zombie thing is annoying, I wouldnt say he's the worst Pahkitew island cotestant, but I definitely believe he's in the lower half, but I also have to admit no character other than Jasmine really fit the "winner" title in that season, either that or they were too unlikeable for me to root for them.

as a sierra enjoyer, i really liked her in world tour, her character seemed to go somewhere at the end of the season and she didn't seem to be that obsessive girl that used to be when the season started. i know people are like "she's a bad character because she did that to cody", but other than that she's relatable if you look at her from another perspective, not saying that it's ok what she did, but she can still be enjoyable, she wasn't really annoying other than the fact that she was obsessing over cody, she was enjoyable. i must admit, in all starts they did her dirty, i feel like they started off from where they left her in the middle of season 3 and all of her character changes were scrapt and thrown into a garbage can. she actually had potential to change and seemed to understand that cody cannot like her and could be besties, but the fact that she thought of cameron being cody, was messed up and weird in all honesty. she wasn't that enjoyable in season 5, but rather that same obsessive girl from the start of season 3

I've always thought Shawn was what the writers thought a "cool" version of Ezekiel would be. Like come on, he OBVIOUSLY takes his look/clothing design from Zeke, and I think enough people rooted for Zeke in previous seasons that the writers thought they could re-tool him into being someone that appeals to that fanbase. I like both Zeke and Shawn personally, so that idea always stood out to me as a possibility.

I feel like they actually rushed all stars and season 6 and just dump it in the show with no good story and no good character personality for new character in season 6. 7:52 I hate this argument. We've seen in people's minds and impossible things before. Ignoring stuff like Owen swimming up vertically while sleeping, there are multiple dream sequences in the show. Season 1 had the Donut-Copter dream. In Season 3, during the songs, let's take Why Did We Build Gwen's Face?, the campers clothing and locations change. How do they get there? Where do they get new clothing? Where do the instruments come from? In Paketheiw, we see Sky's POV of Dave. In The Ridiculous Race we see Noah's POV of Emma. Most importantly, Owen literally has his own art style for specific scenes. Please tell me how Chris records Owen's Bear Killing story in Season 1, or the song Oh My Izzy in Season 3. You could just say that's Chris interpreting Owen's thoughts and what not. I doubt he has the budget for that, but why can't this defence be used for Mike/Mal as well? Why can't that also be Chris' interpretation?
I see what youre trying to explain here, however all of these examples are scenes that just make cartoons, cartoons. Total drama is a cartoon, and its okay for it to have cartoonish elements, in fact i encourage it! However, when you make the core focus of a season and character a completely unrealistic and cartoonish element, it crosses some boundaries and strays too far from what Total drama is trying to parody in the first place. I love that total drama has cartoonish elements like all of the examples you listed, but going into mikes literal brain almost every episode is not one of them and gives mike WAY too much screen time and focus in the season.
Plus Mal didn’t even appear in season 4 so it’s really stupid and annoying to look at the a person that takes control of u physically and mentally. I don’t really care that Duncan knew who Mal was either, it’s Izzy that I am worried about. How did she know who Mal is. She’s crazy not a mind-reader.

Tbh Trent wasn’t all that good in Island, while he did had some sweet moments with Gwen, you can make the argument people are not a fan of boring characters. I agree I like Leshawna more in Action rather then island due to her interaction with Duncan and her conflict in Action was interesting. Not really derailment which is a term that losses its meaning. I argue Sierra was worse in AS. Never liked her Camcody gag. Shawn being least favorite is a wild one. His usual the most beloved PI character who gets all the attention but then again PI characters are not usually stand outs. I agree Millie is better and a great characters not the weakest. Love her dynamic with Pryia, and her whole personality was she isn’t a target or a threat so that’s why she stayed to the finale 3.

for Katie and Sadie, my issue with them isn't even with the characters, but with the writers themselves. their friendship was honestly kinda toxic and they didn't give Katie and Sadie any special personality traits, Sadie's label is literally "the sweet girl's (Katie's) friend", so a good way to take their characters could've been that Katie always gets the spotlight and then when Katie gets eliminated, Sadie could've branched out and made more friends and allies. Maturing is realizing Katie and Sadie's friendship was kinda toxic (both sides but you get what i mean)

For me, Sierra is the worst in World Tour because of her constant creepy obsession with Cody. I admit, I liked her when World Tour first came out due to her positive personality and usefulness in some of the challenges, but after rewatching some of the episodes, I remembered how annoying her obsession actually was.
I think she's good until the point when they just completely forget she's a fan of the show and just go full stalker. Her best moments by far are the ones when she leans into the genre savviness (The one that always comes to mind is her immediately clocking that Heather is being nice to her to try to get Sierra to work with her, and not because she's actually being genuine, but going along with it anyways because it means that Heather won't target her).

Duncan may have been bad in All Stars, but he was nowhere near as bad as Courtney and Gwen. Gwen especially, she spent the entire season whining and moaning about 'getting her friendship with Courtney back' and the second she did, Courtney suddenly remembered 'Oh yeah, I've been a bitch this whole season, time to get back to it' and it made the whole plot feel like a waste of time. Not to mention Gwen's breakup with Duncan was forced and out of nowhere, and her treatment of him afterwards led to the torpedoing of his character.

5:49 I know this is an unpopular opinion, but off lines alone, I actually liked Stacy. As a character, I feel like the writers wasted their potential, but I could easily tolerate her.
For me, Leshawna was at her absolute worst in World Tour. Don't get me wrong, she was terrible in Action too, but in World Tour, she became not only an unsympathetic simp for Alejandro, but she completely destroyed the budding friendship she began with Heather in Action when Leshawna ATTACKED her mid-challenge in "Slap Slap Revolution", made her lose a tooth, and was even proud about doing so, all for absolutely no reason; Heather did absolutely NOTHING to her this season. She only slapped Leshawna ONCE as part of the challenge, and this was BEFORE she tried to warn Leshawna about Alejandro's scheming because she thought they were still friends and was trying to help her. Leshawna chalked it up to jealousy (which it probably partially was), then attacked her out of nowhere, saying she "had it coming for 3 seasons". First off, Heather was only a bitch in Season 1. She paid her dues already way back when she lost her hair and the respect/trust of the others, and had to build herself from the ground up, actually developing as a decent character at the start of Action, earning her team's trust, actually contributing to the challenges, and was being an overall team player. And what did Leshawna do in Action...? She tricked her team into giving her the reward, then trash talked EVERYONE while she was enjoying it. And who was the ONE person that defended her with no benefit to herself? HEATHER!! She was even eliminated that same episode (when it should've honestly been Leshawna) and actually smiled when Leshawna said she could count her as a friend before she left. Then come World Tour, and that friendship was completely destroyed due to Leshawna completely forgetting what Heather did for her in the previous season and treating her as if she was still her Season 1 self. It's like their roles were reversed after the first season, with Heather going from bad to decent to good, and Leshawna going from good to sneaky to pure trash. And how she went back to Harold after Alejandro kicked her to the curb, just made her a lost cause in my eyes. When that kangaroo knocked her out in the Aftermath, I saw that as karmic justice for Heather. The only thing that could've made that moment better was if she lost a tooth also.
I felt so bad for Kelly in RR, having to deal with a selfish daughter in a competition that can be used to bond better with is sorta sad
Don't feel bad because Kelly raised Taylor poorly. Dwayne Sr. even pointed out the fact Taylor was never given proper boundaries. Kelly snapped it into gear when she remembered what he said.

tbh it makes sense for Priya and Julia to make it to final 4 twice, as the Reebot season is technically split in 2 bc CN ordered that, but Terry McGurrin himself kinda confirmed the seaons were thought as a 26 episodes season divided into 13 each. Considering they both are the main characters of the reboot (hero and villain of the seasons), their story continued in season 2.
That's why these two seasons have the most continuity out of all TD seasons. This also explains why we have the same cast in the same location for two seasons straight! Both of the series were also created together. I honestly consider both seasons as one bc of all of that
finally someone who recognizes the core flaw of pahkitew island. Those characters were so one-note it was sad. Honestly, my least favorite was sky because she felt like an insult to fans. basically she she seemed to be inspired by mary sues, wheras dave is a mixture of the fan favorites noah and cody. They took a self-insert fanfic writer's dream and made a joke of it. not saying they should've made them live happily ever after or anything, but it felt like a very intentional subversion of tropes done for the wrong reason.

8: Trent (Action): He was just derailed to the point of no return! He was amazing in Island though!
7: Staci (Revenge of the Island): Sure, she may be extremely annoying, but we only had to sit through her annoyance for only 1 Episode!
6: Katie and Sadie (Island): Worse than Staci by default because 1, they are 2 characters instead of one, and 2, we had to sit through their annoyance through 6 Episodes, after that, Sadie basically resorted to being a background character until Episode 11!
5: Mal (All Stars): Mike is one of my favorite characters, but even I can’t deny how stupid and unlikable his new personality, Mal was in All Stars! Sure, he did technically get Mike through to the finale, but even though he was implied as being evil, all he really did was break things, that’s it! Worst villain in the whole series!
4: Taylor (Ridonculous Race): She was just an unlikable, annoying character with no redeeming qualities whatsoever!
3: Ripper (Both Seasons of 2023): I really wanted to like Ripper, I really did! But the more I saw of Ripper, the less and less I liked him! He’s gross, a total jerk, and just overall a really bad character! Don’t even get me started on his relationship with Axel! Good god! Not only was it totally out of left field, out of character for Axel, and gross, but as a result, it lessened my likability not just towards Ripper, but Axel as well!
2: Sugar (Pahkitew Island): Remember when I said Mal is the worst villain in Total Drama? Well I think you might’ve thought about Sugar when I said that! What I have to do to make my point is lie down on the floor and laugh! I’m sorry, Sugar’s a villain?! 😂 Yeah, Sugar is not a villain! Sure, she’s a bully, but I don’t see anyone calling Ripper a villain for being a bully! In order to classify as a villain, you need to be an actual threat to players in the game, that’s why Alejandro, Heather, Julia, Scott, and the Ice Dancers work so well as villains! Sugar has none of the qualities of a villain! And not only that, she’s the grossest person I’ve ever seen on this show, and that’s saying something! I would’ve at least tolerated her if she was an early boot, but no! She made it to the FINAL 3!! WHY?! And again, she’s not even trying to be a villain, so don’t even think about giving me that excuse!
1: Sierra (World Tour): …I’ll admit, World Tour is a great season, lots of good episodes, great songs, but Sierra, oh boy do I have things to say about her! I hate stalkers, but sometimes we can see good ones, this show has 2 of them done right on the top of my head, those being Izzy and Scary Girl, I like those characters! Her knowledge of things on this show doesn’t make her come off as smart, it makes her someone that as soon as you see, you need to call 911 immediately! I just felt bad for Cody, and, oh yeah, the show somehow made HER in the right even though she is a stalker! Don’t believe me? After the non elimination round in the Amazon Rainforest, Sierra keeps on crying because Cody voted for her to get the boot, which he was in the right for doing, and Team Amazon makes Cody apologize and cheer her up! I really don’t see what anyone was thinking about writing her character! HOW THE HELL DID SHE MAKE IT TO THE FINAL 4?! Sierra is without question, my least favorite character in Total Drama, without even mentioning how bad she was in All Stars!

Alright, time to defend Millie.
If you found her plot uninteresting and predictable, it's fine, I won't put it against you. But I'm gonna say this respectfully, it sure seems like you weren't paying attention, so I'm gonna explain some of your criticisms towards her.
• Her high-and-mighty attitude at the beginning is so important to her development. She arrives intending to write a thesis about her generation's lack of intelligence, but as she befriends Priya and develops that bond, she starts growing out of that judgmental nature and decides to scrap her notebook, until it comes back to bite her in the ass, so she has to work to regain Priya's trust, and that's where she accepts that acting the way she did at the beginning messed her up.
• "Millie didn't deserve to make final 3, she was just carried by Priya." That's the entire point. Priya explicitly states that she carried Millie when their argument at the end of Episode 12 happens. Millie's supposed to be a subpar player that depends on Priya to get through. That's what makes the blow on both of them more impactful once Bowie drops the notebook. All of Priya's work and effort to train Millie and keep her in the game was (presumably) all in vain, and Millie loses the only friend that she made.
• Taking Millie to final 3 was the best play Bowie could've done, because had he dropped the notebook on final 4 and booted Millie, he would have to worry about both Priya (best player in terms of physical game) and Julia (his #1 enemy) in the finale. But by dropping the notebook after getting Julia out and taking Millie to final 3, he can eliminate Priya first, then make quick work of a weakened Millie and take the crown. The only reason as to why he took Priya to final 2 was because she played with his ego.
• If her arc extended across both seasons, she'd likely have to make it decently far (at least final 12-10, which isn't very far at all, but knowing this fandom, they probably wouldn't like it) in order for it to not come across as rushed. But even then, if she went into S2 with almost everyone against her, she could either apologize to Priya early on and be eliminated by episode 3-4 (regardless if her apology was accepted or not), or have most of the cast against her and get booted early with an incomplete arc.
Criticize Millie's arc all you want, but in my opinion, it is one of, if not the best written character arc in Total Drama, regardless of the lack of entertainment it brought to the table.

The only bad thing about Katie and Sadie is theyre under utelized, Sadie kinda had this momentum that she's gonna be important in the episodes even the one Katie gets eliminated in... and then immediately after that gets dropped as a potential storyline, she could've easily became friends with Lindsay (as seen in the phobiafactor episode) and maybe even took Beth's spot in Heather's alliance after she got eliminated (yes theyre on seperate teams but it still couldve worked). A few episodes after the merge, Sadie's and Heather's personalities would rub up against each other, Sadie would get some funny revenge and then get promptly eliminated as a character who still loves her friend but has become her own person without the need to match her bestie in everything

Here are my opinions on the worst ones in each season, except for TDI ‘24:
TDI ‘07: Eva. She was way too psychotic.
TDA: Courtney. She was way too threatening with the involvement of her lawyers.
TDWT: DJ. His animal curse became unfunny when he tried to take himself out of the game just to get rid of it.
TDRI: Staci. She was incredibly annoying and wouldn’t stop talking about her ancestors.
TDAS: Lightning. It was almost Scott, but Lightning was much less likable than in the previous season.
TDPI: Tofer. His idea of usurping Chris wasn’t funny at all.
TDRR: Stéphanie. She has a horrible attitude, and I hated the way she treated Ryan.
TDI ‘23: Bowie. He did tons of unforgivable things that shouldn’t be allowed, like asking for a revote just so he could get rid of Zee.

I think Katie and Sadie had to be the worst because even characters like Eva and Zeek that are unlikable as people, are at least entertaining to watch. Katie and Sadie were just boring. And that's the biggest crime when you're making a show
Here are my dislikes (as far as I can remember since I stopped watching the show after All-Star):
TDI: Katie and Sadie (I completely forgot about them every time I try to remember anything about the show), Heather (while the manipulation and tactics are clever for her, her bitterness and making Gwen and Trent break up was just very low), Geoff DJ and Duncan (only the bullying aspect but otherwise I like them).
TDA: Courtney (the show writers made her unlikeable and I was so into her and Duncan's relationship until they made Courtney a bossy girl trying to control his life), Trent (his obsession with the number 9 was very odd *which is funny because he was the 9th contestant to be introduced*), Beth (only for the fact that she ate all the girls gifts that was filled with cookies), Justin (non talking character who is now talking who now is obsessed with people liking him for his looks).
TDWT: Sierra (aside from being a much capable person who can build a boat from reeds, and willing to sacrifice her wheelchair for Cody to win, she is creepy towards Cody).
TDRotI: Stacy (if she didn't talk too much about her family history and have been more of a team player, she would've been fine), Lightning for both here and next season (Annoying as hell and always put the suffix, "Sha-" in the beginning of his sentences. The only good thing about him is when he knows when fair is fair.)
TDAS: Duncan (turned into a soft guy for some reason, probably to soften him up a bit), Courtney and Gwen (it's weird seeing them be together as friends since they've been with the same guy and have no ill-will towards each other, especially for Courtney in WT.)
In General: Owen (a walking, food talking, fart time bomb who doesn't know when to stop. I did like his relations with Izzy).
Finally someone else who agrees that Shawn isn’t good. He’s not the worst in my opinion but he isn’t good either. Sky deserved to win more

Honestly, I remember watching season 1 for the first time recently with my husband because bored and I genuinely thought Katie was gonna have some major turn around as a solo character without Sadie and be there until the very end, just to spit everyone who voted Katie off, but no, I was wrong XD
as a sierra enjoyer, i really liked her in world tour, her character seemed to go somewhere at the end of the season and she didn't seem to be that obsessive girl that used to be when the season started. i know people are like "she's a bad character because she did that to cody", but other than that she's relatable if you look at her from another perspective, not saying that it's ok what she did, but she can still be enjoyable, she wasn't really annoying other than the fact that she was obsessing over cody, she was enjoyable. i must admit, in all starts they did her dirty, i feel like they started off from where they left her in the middle of season 3 and all of her character changes were scrapt and thrown into a garbage can. she actually had potential to change and seemed to understand that cody cannot like her and could be besties, but the fact that she thought of cameron being cody, was messed up and weird in all honesty. she wasn't that enjoyable in season 5, but rather that same obsessive girl from the start of season 3

I've always thought Shawn was what the writers thought a "cool" version of Ezekiel would be. Like come on, he OBVIOUSLY takes his look/clothing design from Zeke, and I think enough people rooted for Zeke in previous seasons that the writers thought they could re-tool him into being someone that appeals to that fanbase. I like both Zeke and Shawn personally, so that idea always stood out to me as a possibility.
Appreciate you not being so hard on Dave, just because a lot of people hate on him for weird reasons, even though the writers never intended for him to be hated, more like just how a normal person can go from normal to ins@ne on this show. Also he was based off of Luke wilson character from old school. Good movie.

I hate this argument. We've seen in people's minds and impossible things before. Ignoring stuff like Owen swimming up vertically while sleeping, there are multiple dream sequences in the show. Season 1 had the Donut-Copter dream.
In Season 3, during the songs, let's take Why Did We Build Gwen's Face?, the campers clothing and locations change. How do they get there? Where do they get new clothing? Where do the instruments come from?
In Paketheiw, we see Sky's POV of Dave.
In The Ridiculous Race we see Noah's POV of Emma.
Most importantly, Owen literally has his own art style for specific scenes. Please tell me how Chris records Owen's Bear Killing story in Season 1, or the song Oh My Izzy in Season 3. You could just say that's Chris interpreting Owen's thoughts and what not.
I doubt he has the budget for that, but why can't this defence be used for Mike/Mal as well? Why can't that also be Chris' interpretation?
I see what youre trying to explain here, however all of these examples are scenes that just make cartoons, cartoons. Total drama is a cartoon, and its okay for it to have cartoonish elements, in fact i encourage it! However, when you make the core focus of a season and character a completely unrealistic and cartoonish element, it crosses some boundaries and strays too far from what Total drama is trying to parody in the first place. I love that total drama has cartoonish elements like all of the examples you listed, but going into mikes literal brain almost every episode is not one of them and gives mike WAY too much screen time and focus in the season.
Plus Mal didn’t even appear in season 4 so it’s really stupid and annoying to look at the a person that takes control of u physically and mentally. I don’t really care that Duncan knew who Mal was either, it’s Izzy that I am worried about. How did she know who Mal is. She’s crazy not a mind-reader.

4:09 i believe the nine number wasn't something he usually does. i think he was never obsessed with things like these, lucky charms , he just had no choice but to use it when he saw he's starting to lose gwen.... that was just tragic. i like him and gwen but they made his whole personality revolve around gwen even in season 1 were moments like these: he was like "it's not my fault , heather tricked me " gwen is like "yeah i forgive you" ..few episodes later she 's like "nah bro i don 't trust you" even if he was willing to do anything for her to prove himself. ..if you have to do that much only to gain trust then the relationship is not gonna end well. if she can't trust him clearly she needs to solve her trust issues first then date him. and probably this was another reason why she started to move to duncan. ..trent is MORE than gwen's boyfriend. he lost all his coolness because of gwen even if he had many girls who liked him as he is. he deserves a season to shine without gwen. he is a great leader , he' s a cool guy, he is super intelligent but he uses his smart brain only when needed not to brag in front of others. he is a straight A student , he values opinion of ALL people , heroes or villians , and he wouldn't hurt anybody. PITY what they done to him. he deserved at least to come back in all stars....

Jasmine got alot of mixed signs from him because one minute he loved her the next he didn't care
@@Gh0ul_editinq to be honest she mistreated him more. she got angryat him for 5 episodes because he whacked her to score a point for his team, projected this onto sky (thus making her relationship with dave even rockier) continued to feel flip-floppy about her emotions for him.
