Indeed. It’s a beautiful thing!
Wow .
Wow wow 😀😇
No mistakes, no buzzing strings. What a flawless performance! BRAVO!
That is how professional do it.
One day i want to play like this
would take years but i dont care
There is something absolutely magical about how a really good concert guitar can sound in the hands of a master.
Like it's out of this world.
Recording is of course also absolutely world class.
It's like he has complete control of the sounds, it starts and stops whenever he wants it to.
It’s of this world but out of this dimension
old school. no sheet music, no earpiece, no click, just you, the guitar, hard work and dedication. Respect.
Played over and over and over for three years.
Dude can play. 40 yrs. for me Not close...
There is nothing as pure and beautiful as a Classical guitar played by a magician!
totally agree!
A good song for running in a new set of strings.
A master
amen....and i think i did not go
tooooo far
lol
I am actually at this moment thanking God to have let me hear this in my life time.
Easy Turbo
'Man's gotta know his limitations' doesn't apply here eh.... ! Brilliant
There's guys who can play and there's guys who dig
Enter the dragon 🐉 quote
Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms.
"Playing classical guitar ain't much of a living boy".
He went ahead and......made my day!
I've been playing bluegrass and rock and roll for about 50 years. When I want to hear proper guitar playing I find this guy. People think I'm really good... Then I show them this guy
I think you might appreciate this guy he plays alot of classical piano peices on guitar. ua-cam.com/video/yH--Kx4tYH8/v-deo.html
Very true 😮
Agree 💯
He's so good I think I might hate him. Loved Morricone's sound tracks on the "Dollars Trilogy." No one better.
I love your humility. It speaks well of you.
Tone...timing...precision...phrasing.... execution.
Absolutely magnificent!
Dressed in a tuxedo, flawlessly playing the main theme of a legendary Morricone movie on a beautiful classical guitar, having, what looks to me like a Dirty Martini at the ready. That's what I call art and style. Kudos to you, Sir. Pas godt på dig selv.
Lol, never even noticed that martini. May as well go build one now and enjoy this even more. . Cheers
@@davidjohn4140 I noticed the two olives first

Flawless yes, dangerous and provocative, not even.

This man is the ultimate boss who is playing his instrument before the fight.
There are two types of guitarists my friend. Those who play like this guy, and those who don’t.
Search for Fábio Lima. U can thanks me later. lol
Hahaha Art us what one makes of it but I get it Hahahahahaha
Well, yeah, I guess.
Or, those who would like to! ;-)
There's two types of people. Me and everyone else.
My guitar watched this and sold me!
Did anyone else get chills & goosebumps listening to this? Great song from a great movie play perfectly.
And a song that HE wrote.
Yes
I hope in 30years I could be half as good as this man
Just practice twice as hard and effectively as he did and you will do it in 10 probably, I encourage you to envision yourself as someone who can do it and go beyond his self imposed limits. Oh and btw motivation won’t cut it you need to have drive and actually hunger for it, enough to practice even when you might not want to.
Good luck 👍
@@lordyellowman straight up, you could play this in 5 years, assuming you started today. Dedicate a year to your fingerpicking technique and practice like an hour a day and you'll get there in no time
I like your comment you hope in 30 years your is as good as that man I hope you are too I’m a 46-year-old guitar player I’ve been playing since 1974 I learned you don’t start late in life I was 22 and I’m still playing today I wish you all of the success and playing your guitar I hope you learn a lot have a great day 🎸🎸😀👍🏼
He is really a great guitarist...A great mentor...he knows his instrument
@@markbrown7103 I'm 52 now and just bought a guitar. I've always wanted to play and now that I'm retired I have a little time. Realistically, do you think I can play a few songs in a year or so or is that unrealistic? At my age I would love to be able to just memorize songs I like and play them. I guess I should ask what's the best way to learn? I used to play the violin many years ago when I was in middle school and jr high and was quite good. Haven't picked up an instrument since then until now. Not sure if I should go take and pay for lessons or just try to self teach myself with UA-cam.
Anyway, any help will be appreciated. Sure wish I would've bought a guitar years ago but life got in the way.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
when movies were worth watching!unlike todays!!!excellent rendition.
What brilliant playing and an amazing transcription. Nothing bad or ugly .... just GOOD.🎶🎶
I hope realize that's a movie title (movie main theme)and not a reference to the song.
@@cast390 Clint Eastwood spaghetti western - my comment was a play on words.
But, sad to say, he was hoping "For a Few Dollars More" for the gig.

Growing his nails
One of the most beautiful piece of music ever written..
It’s strange huh ? It’s quite simple, short, yet there is some secret magic that makes it amazing
The Ecstasy Of Gold (when Tuco is running through the cemetery looking for the grave) is my favorite Morricone(sp?) piece. Though they're all pretty darn good.
Classical Gas isn't far behind.
I remember watching the movie at the drive-in theater when it was first released in 1966. The song was impeccably reproduced by this magnificent artist. Bravo!
I remember watching the movie on my laptop after I downloaded illegally in 2008.
@@korail4 I remember watching this movie last year with my family on an illegal pirating website

@@ronmartin5339 yep....that's the drive in allrighty.
There is a kid in every one of us. Thank you.
What's that mean?
@@larryslemp9698 you never really grow too old or too serious for some good, italo-western Morricone, where the lone coyote howls in the harmonics.
There are 2 kinds of people in this world my friend, those who use a pick and those who have nails! Respect 🙏🙏
His tone is just breath taking...a delicate touch with power behind it...if that makes any sense.... some things cannot be taught..years of playing and dedication will get you there.. with him it shows.
OMG! Just so much RAW talent. If i could only be as good as he is in one thing in life!!!
That's not raw talent, that's thousands of hours of practice. If you practiced at something for that long you would be good at it too.
When goosebumps have goosebumps!
You Sir are the reason Eric Clapton wants to play guitar. Perfection
The good, the better and the best! Brings good memories of my teenager friends and I at the movies, loudly counting the revolver shots(20 per loading) and yelling and cheering for Clint Eastwood
It's a fantastic piece played by a virtuoso...crying shame that Randy Rhoads died so tragically back in 1982...he was devoted to music such as this.
for a long time i dont see guitarrists playing clean like this, sound laud and clear as cristal.
congratulatins for your work.
I appreciate this man's dedication to create those werewolf nails.
Its like a natural pick on his thumb. He has perfected playing with his thumb nail.
Im a habitual nail biter and Im trying to grow mine out i know what you mean
@@aidenupshaw1483 if this helps I tried focusing my ocd/habit i to having them cleaned. Trimming them perfectly and cleaning underneath them and stuff
Steve Hackett's nails put him to shame.
a Gift of God
Considering it normally takes a complete orchestra to make this sound so good, you've done a fabulous job. It's a privilege to watch and listen to you, thank you.
The years the hours , the patience has turned into a beautiful sound,
Wow, absolutely beautiful playing.
Amazing. I had no idea this could sound that good on a classic guitar. Well executed.
Memories flooding through; father, uncles and their friends, some of the greatest men I’ve ever known. They loved this movie and so do I. Absolutely beautiful rendition.

The man is truely a scholar
Absolute Masterpiece. Thank You Soren Madsen.
He's so elegantly cool about his guitar playing. It's wonderful he's playing the piece in a way that makes you see it so differently
Morricone's music is unique and hauntingly magnificent!
His use of voices is amazing. The voice of God.
Superb! No screeching/sliding noise between major changes! Very talented!
The perfect tune and the perfect guitarist, a splendid combination.
Such absolute SKILL!
Goosebumps from the start to end. Nothing more to say!
If you could find a person on this planet who had never heard a stringed instrument before and sat them down in front of this man to hear this song for the first time , I bet they would smile and say in there own mother language “ wow, this is good”.
Classic guitar performs rhythm and melody at the same time, freaking incredible !
This song is THE song, the only one that ever brings memories of my father. This rendition will be listened to with nostalgia & saved as long as it’s available- thank you for the fond remembrance of times that have passed.

Goosebumps. Absolutely wonderful.
OMG there is so much talent out there. I'm overwhelmed.
This was epic, and knowing this man, spent most of his life mastering his skill... Then you watch Luca Stricagnolli, and collapse under the sheer talent and imaginative genius. Well played sir.
Luca is a totally different type of guitar player. There is room for both (and more) incredibly talented guitarists. Listen to each play the same songs and realized the gift we are given in each flavor. The crispness of each note with Soren, the blend of notes with Luca. I love both equally but differently. They are not to be compared but to be appreciated and listened to on repeat!
@@TracyS513 I will most likely steal the content of your post. I've been known to finish listening to the Brandenburg concertos and put on some Meatloaf or Willie Nelson. It's not a contest. Thank you.

This dude probably been playing since before he can remember. I met a girl who started at age 6. Can be blacked out drunk but hand a guitar and it's smooth and tight playing.
And with a martini, two olives, classic!
So peaceful and relaxing, I could have this playing through my house in every room and never get tired of this man's skill.
How does anyone thumbs this down? Good stuff.

How's about your heart? =)
Dos verdaderos GENIOS, Ennio Morricone y Soren Madsen. Enhorabuena a ambos.👏👏👏
I forget the pains of the world with music. Thank you for being very good at your job !!
This is astonishing. Favorite Clint Eastwood movie and best western soundtrack. Shout out to all my RDR2 brothers and sisters who appreciate this.
It takes me back to when I had a dappled horse, a sombrero, a peacemaker, and looking for gold. Of course none of that ever happened. But it still takes me back to something I've never done.
That martini with olives at the side makes this complete!
Bravo. When played without irony, it's actually rather beautiful. Thank you. Now I'll be up all night playing guitar....
It's absolutely magical. The music, the style and the cool attitude!! Marvelous!!
Excellent 👍
I can't imagine the hard work that went into learning and getting as good as he is at this song.......
Your right Amigo, Soren is not only one that can play, but the Master of all Masters, could listen to him play all day, this is my favourite xx❤❤😂
Awesome & wonferful. Ennio Morricone has always been one of my favorite composers. May he RIP.
I often listen to the soundtrack from The Mission when I need inspiration. :)
Why is there 180 thumbs down??? I'll never understand why such great content has so many, if any thumbs down......people lack human skills.... This was Wonderful, a Joy to listen to!!!
They enjoyed the strumming part so the thumbs down...can't mean anything else. Amazing how perfection sounds ...both the instrument & the master.
