My dad and Maj Akshay's grand father Col A K Murthy, had served together in Jammu during the late sixties. I still remember getting a whatsapp message on my late dad's unit whatsapp group about Akshay passing away. I recollect going to his grand father's place in Bangalore to pay my respects where the entire family had gathered to receive the martyr's body. It was really very sad to see the family trying to come to terms with the tragic loss.
I dont know how many times i have seen these.. Professor thank you... I have no words how could i pay tribute to these selfless hereos.. Proud to come from a family of indian army

Thirst videos really make us sad. One thing which makes us feel more bad is that these are true heroes we lost. Indian economy is doing really well at least from the past 20 years... no one needs to join army just for a job, if people now are joining this esteemed institution then it is only for the love of nation, and taking the big brother responsibility to safeguard us all... just do not have words when ever a person dies while protecting his country men. My highest respect to all soldiers of all nations...

My Dad served in the Army for 30years moving from different cantonments throughout the country.
I can very well understand the pain a soilder and his family suffers during different postings. Unfortunately a Soilder sacrifices his life for the country without any selfish goals.
Many times almost months that turn into years they are unable to see their families on forward postings.
Ironically what our soilders are facing is a proxy war, something that does not involve regular army to army fights.
Extreme form of Gorilla warfare where irregulars try to do maximum damage raiding bases while soilders and families are asleep.
Challenge to those who try to achieve this under stealth and deceit, please face us man to man we will let you know what we are capable of.
