House mice genealogy from across the world revealed their origin all the way back to INDIA. House mice are found only where there is availability of farming because house mice depends on grains for food. This also indicates that the agriculture first started in INDIA even thought at present there is no archeological evidence and in nation like India getting archeological evidence is too difficult because many generations have been living in same areas and population increased over thousands of years and many areas which were previously farms are now converted to cities, towns.

Issue is Aryan Invasion still being taught to the students. Even outside India it is still popular and being taught. India has to rewrite this story inside and outside
But there are intelligent people that realised Aryan theory was a myth. Their are a few people only but something is better than nothing.
I am glad that cbse doesn’t teach the Aryan invasion theory for the higher classes (11th and 12th grade). However, it is a different story for younger classes.

There's a place called Jwalapuram here in Andhra Pradesh where they found ashes errupted from Toba volcano 75000 years ago. The depth of the ashes was nearly 10 feet. They found stone tools which are used for farming under the Ash bed. And similar tools over the Ash bed too. They say people over there survived the volcanic erruption where rest of the world completely vanished.

The way she explains the facts by keeping in mind the sentiments of religioun and her profession is fire. One thing I want to mention that concerns me a lot. I am south Indian, from Andhra Pradesh(Telugu) , when you refer south Indian people that believe and fight for their identity in based on Aryan Invasion Theory, It just kills me inside. No one do that. Its just a political stunt happening in Tamilnadu, Except some tamilians who are arrogant about their language is the first one, No one cares or believes in AIT. Believe me, 90% of the south Indian doesn't know AIT had happened. Archeologically, ethically and logically AIT is a myth. we never never think north people are invaders but our brothers. Yes, you are right and we all should have right to know the real history of India and ancient India.
You are free to disagree with Global consensus but forcing others to disagree is one step backwards towards progress.
It's like Turkey recently removed evolution from the syllabus because it goes against the pre-existing beliefs of the Muslims. Some things need to be studied even if you disagree with them, that's how we reached the point where we are now. Imagine if we were to be stuck with the Geocentric model?

Human migration is a pretty debatable and contro-ver-sial topic, there's not much objectivity either so academics from different parts of the world have their own biases, conscious or unconscious and Indian academics are NO exception. And OIT is not even a theory but a hypothesis created by reli-gious natio-nalists of a particular reli-gion as a response to Euro-centr-ism and colo-nialism. Niraj Rai after the Rakhigari excavation concluded that "It's just the beginning" OIT is not a global consensus and it's only accepted within the defined borders of a particular country and more precisely by people belonging to a particular faith. Now tell me there's no bias here.

As Disha Madam would discuss the existence of Mahabharat based on the archeological facts in her new book on Mahabharat. She is also saying it’s around 3000 BCE old. This dating is also claimed by Nilesh Oak who has proved the same using more than 300 astronomical evidences mentioned in the Mahabharata text itself. Please also call Nilesh Nilakantha Oak. He stays in US/Canada
Nilesh Oak dates Mahabharata to around 5500 BCE. Ramayana to 11000 BCE

Besides she called Graham Hancock a pseudo archaeologist....he does a better work than most archeologists and he never makes a closed statement he only asks to consider a possibility.

Excellent podcast. Worth mentioning that many Hindu Epics to make references to astronomical events and constellation/star/planetary positions in the night sky. This is an ingenious way to time stamp major events e.g. Bhisma's passing after the actual Mahabharata War. So while the hard material evidence from archeological digs and surveys may be the ultimate proof of an event, we should recognise that over the eons of time, a lot of this evidence may have been lost or degraded or even stolen through countless battles and conflicts. We are talking about territorial humans at the end of the day. So, perhaps that's why our recorded scriptural evidence used astronomy to book mark significant events. Maybe the Rishis were onto something!

@@amolkhobaragade that is an assumption. In any case, there are multiple time stamps in each and every book. You are free to disprove even one time stamp. They all fall within the period of 1 human life, approx 100 years, and are not some random time stamps that the authors recorded. You could check if you want.

Lahuradev in U.P was the first agricultural site in Indian subcontinent it dates back 8000:BCE to 8500:BCE in recent archeological discovery.

Want to add: Its mentioned in Rig-veda that Saraswati river has seen huge floods, and it's flowing at its full might. So, if the so-called rig-vedic tribe migrated to the subcontinent at ~1100BC, and wrote rig-veda in India, how could they write the above, since Saraswati has almost disappeared by this time, as Dr. Ahluwalia has mentioned.

Archaeology alone is insufficient to know about the dates of such ancient history. One needs to connect the dots with multiple disciplines of science and also literature. It's because even metals corrode with time and get reused by later people. They get stone tools as the most ancient tools not because people didn't knew about making other kind of tools, but rather because stone is basically the only material that could had survived such a length of time, and also because no one generally would need to recycle and reuse stone tools down the line in history, as people must had done with metal tools.

The proponents of this migration theory, they carefully avoid two things, speaking of River Saraswati and speaking of The Ice Age. Just think about it, if any migration was supposed to happen, it would have happened at the beginning of the Ice Age when that region got covered in snow. That Ice Age lasted for about 100,000 years and it started receding about 12,000 years ago, and that's the period when Dwarka has supposedly drowned because of the rise in sea level due to melting ice.
It's funny that humans of the INDn subcontinent didn't evolve even though they had favourable habitat and environment but humans from regions of harsh weather, extreme cold and unfavourable habitat evolved. Given even today's low density of flora and fauna of such harsh regions of the planet as compared to regions of favourable habitat and environment, it's nothing but a fictional story that people migrated to Bharat and brought their wisdom with them.
One of the fundamentals of any migration theory is that when the same kind appears at multiple places, the place which exhibits most diversity is considered to be the origin, but somehow they stop short of applying even such fundamentals when it comes to Bharat. I don't think there's any doubt about which place exhibits greater diversity.

I have subscribed and watched almost all of Ranveer's sessions because I learn from it. Although I didn't know Disha before, I can see that she is a very knowledgeable budding archaeologist. When Ranveer asked about excavations in the South, I expected Disha to talk in depth or at least mention about Keezhadi, Atchichanllur, Gangaikondacholapuram, Perumbalai, Thulukarpatti and Mayiladumparai and many more. Instead she says there is some digging going on here and there. Surprising.

Nice topic - I love it. Humans have to dismiss the feeling of insecurity with being "wrong." We must stop competing to be right so we can be more objective and evolve into greater acceptance of all possibilities.
Wonderful episode. Very informative too for normal people who are beginners in the search of real history. Archeologist Disha's speech is awesome. But she talked about Aryan migration theory from an archeologist's point of view. It is like seeing a gigantic three dimensional image from one angle alone. It does not give us a complete picture. History should be understood through the eyes of a multidisciplinary team consisting of historians, archeoligists, linguists, literary scholars, physicists, geoligists, and many more experts of varied fields. Aryab migration theory was not formed with archrological data alone. Hence, if there are more discussions with experts in varied sciences who have opinions on the Aryan migration theory (both FOR and AGAINST) it would bring more clarity in the topic. We would like to see Shri R.Balakrishnan, retd IAS officer of Odisha who has written a book called ' A journey of a civilization - from Indus to Vaigai' and the history Prof.Karunanandhan in this interesting channel of yours regarding Aryan migration theory.

Well, it’s like; since you are invested in your profession, just labelling everyone else as ‘pseudo’ or something like that and totally brush the ‘alternative’ side under the carpet is the classic example of dogma defence. My biggest takeaway reading Graham’s work is, why not pay attention to people’s histories and just dig deeper.
In the beginning of the podcast she says, our field of study is inferential and tentative but later on goes on stating in a tone that these are the facts and cannot change 😒
Another big miss is looking up to the skies. Our ancients had significantly deeper astronomical knowledge based on millennia of observation, which we only consider superficially today.
I think in this era of ‘specialisation’, we are forgetting to connect multiple fields of study, instead we’re pitting one vs the other.
for the first time I really witnessed the mainstream archeologist, the ones that hancock talk about lol, she is so much into mainstream.

55:13 Even bigger astonishing Linguistic analogy that Aryan Migration Theory indirectly implies which our simpleton Ranveer missed is that Indian culturally occupied by superior Aryans ended up writing post Vedic masterpieces in Sanskrit Literature like Puranas , Sutras , Upanishads and all this in a time where there is no organised education industry.
Lets me explain in simple Terms.
Its like saying Indians had such a huge Linguistic IQ that they mastered sanskrit even better than so called Aryans. It is like saying Brits taught Indians English and Indians ended up writing Shakespeare like masterpieces. Its like saying American Tech taught Indians Comp. Language C and Indians ended up improving it and wrote C++. Its like saying Westerns Tech taught Indians Artificial Intelligence and Indians ended up writing ChatGPT.
What Ranveer fails to realise that archeology is just one small arm for studying an ancient civilisation , real way to learn about an ancient civilisation is through its linguistics and its cultural literature. We know more about Rome Empire through its texts , we know more about Ancient Greek civilisation through its literature.
Sadly Ranveer is not the correct host to impart knowledge on history and ancient civilisation, he has a romanticised take on these academic disciplines with everything leading to his fanboy Alien Theory and his fractured understanding doesn't help
This archaeologist is very knowledgeable and personable too. Pls have her on more often.

There's always a spiritual explanation for something, when you approach history from a fact oriented perspective, what you will find will always be limited to what you can see, beyond that you can not go. When you really want to find something out of the ordinary, you have to open yourself up to anything metaphysically.
The videos regarding the Archaeology is really amazing. So many new things to get to know of. But there are excavation sites in Tamilnadu and one of that is Keezladi (Pronounced as Keel Adi) where we got a breakthrough of the oldest civilization that Harapan Civilization. There is another sight called Adhichanalur. It would be nice if you could make a video of this or talk about this.
