You are an inspiration to why I became a float plane pilot and owner , I’d love to join you on some adventures with my 172 i your videos continue to inspire and motivate others.
Hew Mathew, thanks for your kind words. I always welcome fellow float pilots to join me on an adventure. If you give me an email address or number I can text, we can share our coordinates.
Wow! This is some of the most beautiful flying I've seen - and my faves are usually the south island of NZ. Thank goodness for GPS hu? BTW - I am similarly mounting an Insta360. Do you think it would be dangerous to extend beyond the prop arch? I'd love to get vid from in front of the plane. Cheers!
Hey thanks. I originally had the Insta360 on an 8' selfie stick (1" diameter aluminum) which was recommended and put it ahead of the prop, no aerodynamic issue that I saw. That's definitely the better vantage point. Prombem was the stick was not sturdy enough to prevent the camera from bobbing up and down. Sometime I will try again with a 1.5" D stick.
Be sure to mount the selfie with proper brackets near where the struts meet the wing or close to the jury struts so you don't overstress the struts. Have a competent person inspect before flight.
@@flyingdundee oh wow interesting! I take pictures of float/bush planes around the area. Maybe sometime I could come and get pictures of you flying in sturgeon!
Beautiful scenery, gorgeous airplane! Thanks for sharing!
As a Belgian Piper Cup pilot I only have one word for your videos and that is WAW! 😲😍

Beautiful! But I would rather just listen to the wind and plane . Then I could be there and not some medication workshop . 😅
Do you know where i can find info to see if i can land a plane on my property?
@@caine-chow Hi there, where is your property?
@flyingdundee43 i dont own one yet. But I'm looking around lake Nipissing area. South west of sturgeon falls... east of sudbury area.
Do you ever fly to the north Bay Area?
I have family in Sturgeon Falls so I usually fly there a couple times a year. Not so much to North Bay though.
