Flying Dundee
Приєднався 2 лют 2020
About me: Danny (Dundee) Williams. I have been around small airplanes all my life. Both my parents were pilots. In fact my first flight was in a 1956 Cessna 172 flown by my Father while my Mom held onto me. That was in 1961 and I was one year old. The first time I remember actually flying an airplane was when I was 10 years old. My Dad put me in the front seat of his 65Hp Aeronca Champ. I was 28 when I took my first formal flying. My log book shows that I had 2.3 hours of flight training when the instructor let me solo for the first time. This was a testament to how much time I had spent before then flying with my Dad and brother. I don't think any flight instructor would let that happen today, but I spent the next 3.3 hours solo, doing circuits at our local airport. My first airplane was a J3 Cub, then a Cessna 180 that I flew for 16 years. But the lure of a Cub never leaves you so I went back to a cub. Hope you enjoy the ride.
Autumn Blaze in CANADA by Floatplane
The autumn leaves are falling in Canada and the beautiful red maple trees and sugar maple trees ignite into fiery shades of red, orange and yellow. This special time of year only lasts for about two weeks. Soon, the north winds will blow, taking the leaves to their final resting place, and ushering in a new season of beauty we call winter.

Hannah's Got Her Wings

I took Hannah, a family friend, for her first flight in a small plane when she was 15 years old. She was a natural on the controls of a Cessna180 on floats. Inspired, she was determined to become a pilot. Now, she has her private pilot license and is working on her dream of making flying a career. She is training for her commercial license and working through her IFR and CFI ratings. We went fl...
How I Launch a Seaplane From a Trailer - Part 1

Float season is here for seaplane lovers, so I am removing my wheel gear, installing my float gear, loading the seaplane on a trailer, and towing it down the runway for the takeoff launch. "Part 1" shows this process including the launch and "Part 2" shows the launch and then a seaplane flight to a remote beach where I answer some common questions about the trailer takeoff.

Ski Flying to a Friends Farm

It's a bit of a stretch to call it winter this year in Canada. Warm temperatures, lack of snow, and very little ice on the lakes may be just fine for those who dislike winter...But for those of us who embrace winter; skiing, boarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skating, and of course ski flying, it's been a disappointment. Nevertheless, we make the best of it. I took a morning flight to visit a...

Float Plane Tour - French River from Lake Nipissing to Georgian Bay
Переглядів 742Рік тому
Come along as we travel the 110 km (68 mile) French River from its’ Headwater at Lake Nipissing to its mouth where it spills into Georgian Bay, part of Canada’s Great Lakes. This is the same river that French Voyageur, Samuel de Champlain paddled over 400 years ago to discover Huronia and on to what is now Toronto. The Ojibwa Nation named the river because it brought the French to their land. N...
Musquash River By Floatplane

The Musquash River is a pristine piece of Canadian wilderness enjoyed by paddlers, campers and day trekkers alike. If you are lucky you may see a wolf, a black bear, a raccoon or hear the call of a loon. Go snorkeling and you may even see a six-foot-long Sturgeon prowling the bottom.

Excellent video, great flying. Many thanks.
Beautiful. 😎
Oh my gosh the colors are stunning
Stunningly beautiful and well flown.
Fabulous!
Wonderful. Beautiful plane. Congrats on your successful life.
@@roadking99jokerst60 thank you for your kind words 😊
Great video! She did good! 👍🏻😁
Yah, she's a natural...born to fly!
A walk round not so easy on a sea plane
Beautiful scenery, lovely aircraft. Thank you for the flight experience!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Now we know what is meant by 'a sea of clover' and I love how all the four-leaf clover is hosed off at the end. Mightily impressed. Take off next time ;)
Awesome!
Do you know where i can find info to see if i can land a plane on my property?
@@caine-chow Hi there, where is your property?
@flyingdundee43 i dont own one yet. But I'm looking around lake Nipissing area. South west of sturgeon falls... east of sudbury area.
Thanks for buying the plane! Would you like floats, wheels, or skis? Yes, please!
@@t23001 hi there, I prefer floats then wheels then skis.
Thanks for taking us along! Great video!👍🏻
That merlin sound!
One of the better videos of this year’s event. I enjoyed that ! 😎
Awesome video cheers
I want to see the trailer landing
That was an interesting thing to see. ✔️
Thanks for the information
Never knew - great!
Nice toy box. I was impressed when I saw the block and tackle hanging from the ceiling. I noticed your Mag switch, do you have duel impulse couplings?
Nice floatplane !
Excellent
I am very surprised that you can fly inside a nature reserve. In Spain this would be cause for a very large fine. A few can be flown over at no less than 400 m (about 1,310 ft). I have always been surprised by the freedom of bushpilots in Canada (and USA).
Great information and a very beautiful site!
❤❤❤
Great to learn of this. Dad was a Sask Air Ambulance pilot, RCAF etc. Just shy of 17000 hours. I don't believe he ever did any float plane flying but I could be wrong. I know he used snowski's at times.
😎
😎
What no landings
Like porn, it starts in the middle.
I would re-angle that exhaust so that it is not cooking your bungee covers!! Beautiful Cub. She looks like a wonderful preformer!!
What a cool wing jig/hanger system. Nice job!!!
Video would be so much better with just airplane noise and no music!! Just saying.
The problem with these cubs is they just fly. This entire video shows a pilot trying to land. This plane hate landing so it just soars. .... but he does eventually land.
Nice to see GLDS again. A friend of mine used to own her.
Why dont you shut that stupid fu--king music off you f--king idiot?
I am surprised it doesn't damage the floats.
It certainly can if you are not careful, never on a gusty day. No real flare, I fly it onto the ground as slowly as possible. North Star stalls at 25. Thanks for you comment.
😎
Nice 1!
Thanks Mitchy
Your videos are always top notch. Great fun to watch. Great music choice, too!
Thanks for your comment and kind words, I'm glad you are enjoying them.
