- It's been quite a journey walking through this path, but I'm thankful for the people I've met along the away, I know that I'm not alone, know that you are not too. (heart) In this vlog, I open up about the whirlwind of emotions I had for the past couple of weeks, from my embryo freezing, from making choices as early as now and from joining a campaign that's close to my heart.
I was hesitant at first to join the "No compromise Parenting" campaign with Cycles and Cradle. But I took the leap and joined, without me knowing I'd be more empowered. Like what Jess Wilson said, "The moment you want to become a mom, that's when your motherhood journey begins"

I hope this vlog gives comfort to those who are in this journey with me. I'm grateful to each and every one of you, and these special talks are what keeps me going.

I was diagnosed with PCOS 8 yrs ago and up until now I am still in the process of waiting upon the Lord to answer our prayer of having a baby. The journey wasn't easy but one thing is for sure my God is a powerful God and His plans for us is to prosper and not to harm us. One day our journey will be a testimony how God has done miracles in our marriage and pregnancy journey. In the waiting praise Him. You will be a great mom Vern 😚. Thank you for this Vern! I am going thru the same process just like you and it can be frustrating when i get bad news after bad news. I had my egg retrieval in Feb and still waiting for my the right time to transfer. You make me think about just destressing and distancing myself from everybody so i can be as healthy for my little embaby. I know how you feel. And thank you for this.
Ive been there to the point my mental health is suffering later on diagnosed with a medical condition the stress is a contributing factor. Just remember you and your husband is also important. As long as he's there to support you you're in good hands. Goodluck

I know someone who’s going through the same thing. She also have pcos, and had surgery for a cyst. Hoping she could get pregnant after that. They really want to have a baby already, but so far they can only do the things that wouldn’t require hundreds of thousands for procedures. I actually felt guilty when I found out I was pregnant, when I know how she already felt about our acquaintances getting pregnant right after marriage. But it was nice that she was still comfortable opening up to me about the struggles, cause I know she needs someone to talk to.

People are stereotyping and insensitive to such topics esp during family / batch reunions.
But being concern to other’s feeling will help us be gentle and be kinder on asking such question - or should i say better leave it unknown for them 🙂

Being a mom, dili ra man n mag matter if n buntis ka,n nganak ka. You can be also a mom to your cousin kid’s or to your friends kid/children. I see na you can be a perfect mom someday. Swerte ang mahimo nimong anak.

I am not going to any family gathering. Pinaka masakit na narinig ko was when my tita told me " Ang hina mo naman" mag baby na kayo. Sobrang hagulgul ko nun pag uwi. I feel like i was traumatized engaging with relatives or gathering.
Huwaaaah cried like a baby watching this video. So thankful for sharing with us this very important journey of your life. We know it's hard for you to even talk about this. But yeah, sometimes people can be so insensitive as if having a baby is like buying a lollipop from a candy store. it's something people should be considerate or be tactful about, because for others/some, it's such a sensitive topic.
Just focus on yourself and don't mind those comments from people who don't matter to you. Thank you for being so brave Vern. Went very emotional as well when you talked about Ben. Let go and let God. I think you’re stressing and pressuring yourself too much on something that God has not put an end to YET. It will come. You have too much love to give, there are a lot of ways to channel that extra love to while waiting for God’s greatest blessing. You can go to an orphanage, visit or donate to children’s hospital, A LOT. Don’t worry too much about it, Vern. I too waited for years. If it’s for you, it will come. ❤
