What is this strong, innate human urge to own a creature as this? I do not understand the background science, but the moment I saw it, I wished it lived besides me. Why?
It is not innate, curiosity and desire getting to know animals are natural. Unfortunately we are born and raised and a capitalistic society that plays with the natural curiosity of humans to make us want to posses everything we like. We are taught to find pleasure in having stuff more than experiencing stuff. I have used to have that feeling too. And i still feel my heart melting when i see them and wish i could be in contact with them. Huh? I don't wanna own them. The only pets I wanna have are domestic ones. I think locking a domestic cat inside a house all their lives because it's "safer" for them is bad enough already (my family's cats are indoor outdoor), but locking in a wild animal? Never. I like the thought of them being free.
@@TheSavageApprentice ... agreed, but its a far more noble desire than that of wanting to eat or use for weird medicine any creature that lives on planet Earth. Far better that those people vanished from the planet than any creature at all.
The first thing we need to do is stop talking abou "owning" them. That's Capitalistic, patriarchial framing. Something owned is for sure not "free". But we can live with , support, and protect non-humans who remain free (see the waltersantindy channel for cats who live in a garden in Turkiye...they love the humans who supprt and care for them, but they are not "owned" and can come and go as they please.) If I live long enough I'll research how to do it. There is a lot of myth floating around about how asocial they are, but as the zookeepers say, it's all in the amount of effort we are willing to put in to build loving relationsips: when all is said and done, they are cats, and humans and cats can learn to relate to one another. I think there's one in Italy too... Try to find Roman Paulov account, he posts lot of infos about it
Omg tooo cute...so fluffy...i know they are wild but I wish could hold them and squeeze their fluffy cheeks. >o
Somehow I knew you were the one drawing the animals. You have an artist aura shining brightly around you! I love your art and its very inspiring. I love learning all I can about animals lol I may be your favorite person to take at a zoo I'm like a personal zoo keeper who spouts out all facts about each animal lol I'm studying to become a zookeeper at the moment
Theyre so adorable. I'd love to open a sanctuary for them
...really? they have short ears to hide better? Not because its freaking freezing there? o_0
That too
There territories arent only in cold terrains. They have territories in the desserts and mountains. Plus cold terrains.
Lynx has pointy ears, even if it lives in similar conditions.
Also can’t most animals tuck back their ears to hide?
Wow, didn't know these cute cats existed. You have an amazing way of presenting this. Thanks. Also as you are an incredible illustrator.
I love these cats and always enjoy seeing the videos of them. They have the most expressive faces, and yes, sometimes they do look grumpy. 😻😁😻
I saw 2 of them at the Zoo 2 weeks ago, sooo cute
RIP grumpy-cat. Long live grumpiest cat!
A dose of cuteness on this hump day is all I needed. 😊☺🥰 Thank you for the info!
Great video thank you, Very well presented and both entertaining and informative. Those kittens are so cute! And beautiful living drawings.
5:57 BREAKS MY HEART 😢💔 I hate it the fact that people still love to splurge money on animal fur or skin. Why do you do that for? 😣😭 You're just making the poachers hunt more for money. Don't kill innocent animals for your selfishness. Don't support these poachers. How I wish Thanos snapped ya all 😭
lookwhoshere, I agree
I'm super angry too. I would pray they all go hell and have no mercy in the afterlife. Th we animals will seek revenge fosho.
the poachers and buyers have got to be one of the first people to enter hell
Something tells me they have a beautiful smile when they are alone, and no one is watching them.
Fantastic, fascinating video. These cats are beautiful, and thanks for showing them the respect they deserve.
Great videos, thoroughly researched, original clips, great info! I’m learning about animals i didn’t even know existed. Thanks / Merci!
They are so adorable.
There was actually an incident in Russia when an old lady mistook a pallas’s cat as a domestic cat and took it home. The lady was fine, but the 3 burglars that broke into her house later all died. So yeah, pallas’s cats are still wild cats
Sounds like the cat was loyal.
@Pierre Dude, it's Russia. There they ride polar bears to work and old ladies have guns in they're purse, everything can happen
This sounds like an extremely Russian story
What a incredible story! That little Pallas Cat provided that lady w Devine protection! Thx 4 sharing🙂👍♥️
I'm Russian and l don't believe it!! 🤦 The lady should have noticed after a few weeks at the latest that it is a wild animal!.. Manuls(we call pallas cats like this) cannot be tamed! 😼 Some people in Russia have found from time to time pallas cat cubs, nursed and raised them, but after that, however, people handed over manuls to zoos or nature parks...
Please talk about Capybara 😊 I find it interesting how other animals love them and they just seem so chill. Thank you in advance if you discuss this animal!
Hello how are you doing?
Animalogic: the Pallas Cats are the original grumpy cats
Scottish wildcat: am I a fricking joke to you
2:26 he looks like a little old man ❤️
Wise old man
Goblin shark? Doing something super creepy for Halloween would be cool
These are my favorite feline outside of my 4 cats. They are so cool looking from their fur, facial expressions, to their eyebrow whiskers. They are absolutely gorgeous and fascinating to watch their movements. They are so solitary that they could never be domesticated and therefore I will never have that dream of petting one while watching a movie come to fruition.
As a cat lover and cat dad myself, I understand.
🐈
They like literally look like something out of star wars if you know what i mean xD
You mean, Chewbacca?
