    Very nice. That ambulance was quite a find. It's responsibly well thought out, with conveniences and practical applications. It does place the focus on living. Thanks for the tour!

    That "drying drawer" idea is great.

    Your "monster" is awesome! I'm still in my beautiful e150 triton. No build. I have a bed, dressers, etc love nomadic life style, such freedom! Saving a lot of money, no bills. I have 1200 solar in several panels flex, 2000 inverter, and 1750 watts in 4 generators and smaller cells to charge snake things. I love it! Peace, joy, love, and safety on your life journey!

    That “bathroom” design is really cool, I’ve never seen a setup like that, most people have their toilet in their kitchen or under a couch..

    Love the drying drawer and the food waste disposal. Great ideas. All in all such a great rig.

    I wouldn’t consider that a tall fridge as much as a fridge you put up at eye level, lol. Either way- much better to do it the way you did it anyway! I don’t know how people bend to find their stuff everytime in those tiny fridges. Would drive me bananas!

    $120K for this rig is money well spent imo, I would do it in a heartbeat. Hmmmm I need the ambu first so I am going to start looking, today.

      Idk how he sunk so much money into it considering it looks so cheap- like $70k on what?

    • @rvnut1133

      Often times it depends on what the owner's priorities and wants are such as equipment, wheels, tires, solar, cooling and heater which all can add up quickly. Many people don't care about the inside aesthetics and focus on the outside. I recently saw a dude with a $190K van, the inside was nothing to brag about, it was all about the outside and being able brag at festivals and meet ups and such. I could never spend that kind of money on a van.

      You can convert something or build it yourself for a fraction of that.

      I would have to pay to have it done.

      You don’t throw 120k into a weekend getaway rig you spend that kind of money if you intend to live full time in it so you might as well get it as comfortable as you want it the first time

    Where did you attach your ground wire for your solar system? Thanks!

    • @davidhorsey7164
      @davidhorsey7164 5 місяців тому +1

      Solar battery power regulator then battery bank is the way it's done if you want to charge off the alternator while driving use a dcdc smart charger you can hook solar panels straight up to it then also charge of engine but make sure you use proper sized wires and fuse or use circuit breakers on everything so use fuses between alternator or starting battery then solar panels and between battery bank to dcdc or solar regulator put fuses or circuit breaker as close to power sources as possible but out of weather or use weather proof ones in engine bay

    Why not just dry the dishes with a towel before putting them away...

      Or install a proper sized sink and use a drain board that can be used over the sink when finished washing 😊

    It’s nice, but the original off grid, and/or tiny house concept has been lost by way of how much all of this now costs to have/build. No longer a reality for most.

    • @TomRoszko
      @TomRoszko 8 місяців тому

      Not true, it's much cheaper now. You also don't have to have the bells and whistles that this guy wanted.
