Guess you are ignorant. You have to pay before they will let you look at the site. Free trial means nothing. And if you have to spend a certain amount before you get free shipping that's a problem. If you order freezer type things that minimum is 120.00.
They still require you to pay with a credit card. Then are not very easy to cancel. They take a long time to refund . you can not even look at the products to compare .
Amazon Fresh also charges fees though. It was a complicated model tbh. I was turned off by Thrive trying to control me as a consumer. Show the prices or no membership. That’s ridiculous.
I love my Thrive Market purchases. Other than milk bread eggs and cheese I purchase everything. For my fruits and vegetables I order from the Misfit Market. I’m never going back to the corporate food chains so I’m hoping these companies stay with us. There is definitely difference in the food.
I just started with Thrive. They have fresh produce and fruits. I have been pretty satisfied so far. I live far from a natural food store, so it’s worth it to save me a long drive. My only issue is ALL THE PACKAGING!
As others mentioned, it's NOT cheaper, generally; a lot of stuff is frequently out of stock; and I feel that having to pay just to browse is bogus. Also, I hadn't used Thrive Market in years, yet yesterday - a Sunday - they charged my PayPal $60 for a membership I didn't order....totally unauthorized. I couldn't call because it was Sunday, but I was able to chat, and requested an immediate refund and deletion of my data. Instead of apologizing and saying, "Sure," the agent offered me a discount and free shipping on my first few orders. I was livid. I received two emails last night, the first saying my account had been refunded, and the second saying my card on file had been removed. THEN....at 1:54 this morning, I got ANOTHER email saying, "Welcome to Thrive Market! Your membership is active." Screw them. I'll never use it again. Misfits Market or Imperfect Foods are far superior, and you can cancel at any time.
Costco has way bigger sizes and lower prices . Then when they have a sale I just stock up for the year . Flavcity has a video each month to show you which healthy items are on sale.
@@Santanapainyou can’t make that blanket statement . You look at the ingredients to see if healthy whether it has processed ingredients, seed oils , sugars , msg, etc as certain ingredients keep longer and are healthier
Costco isn't good for everyone, especially single people.. costco also doesn't have as much healthy options/variety as thrive market, they are basically completely different stores . And all bobby does is fear monger and spread misinformation
@@nomanejane5766 You are so wrong ! I am single and shop Costco mostly with Trader Joe’s for my kefir. I only healthy foods like the organic chicken dogs , granitas chips , grass fed beef Pattie’s , all the fresh and frozen vegetables, the list goes on.and I have never felt better? I even but several items when on sale and freeze or stock up as the expiration dates are sometime a year away on dry products . You are so wrong. Go ahead and eat your junk foods with seed oils and see how big Pharma helps you later .
The few Thrive products ive been able to find the prices on are atleast $2-$3 cheaper at our grocery store. I dont like the inability to compare unless you pay the membership price.
Haha it just hit me that even if things are “cheaper” on Thrive you’re still paying the same amount you would in store or delivered like Instacart bc those don’t require to pay for a membership. So it’s like that technically goes to the extra amount that is “more expensive” elsewhere. Well played Thrive, well played.
I had Thrive Market for almost a year, and during that time I could find what I wanted generally less expensive elsewhere. I decided not to cancel my subscription, but there is no way to do this on your own without chating or emailing with a retention specialist first. I'm glad my credit card for their store happens to be invalid now, because at this point I was not able to get confirmation that my service was cancelled before the scheduled renewal date next month. This process shoould be quick, easy, and immediate, but it is not.
I can agree with the comments about canceling your Thrive membership. They make it very difficult. I'm in the process of trying to cancel now and it is a pain. Be sure you really want to join, because if you change your mind and want to cancel, you'll have to jump through all their hoops!
The thing about comparing to Amazon Fresh is that for an order between $50-100 Amazon would charge you a $7 delivery fee and you’d have to factor in a tip for the delivery. So at the end of the day Thrive would probably be about $20 cheaper for that order.
Yes great point! Amazon doesn’t charge delivery fee if you have Amazon prime, so I thought that would balance out since they both charge membership fees. You’re right about the tip though! Although one other thing I didn’t count for Thrive Market is the worker Health and Safety fee which seems to be a few dollars per order.
@@MissSarahEK I actually think Prime changed their policy at the end of February! They do charge Prime members for Fresh delivery now on a sliding scale, for orders under $150.
I just bought a 1-year membership at the price you stated,...and received my first order today. My order included 5 items. One of the items was damaged which most likely was caused by the handling of the box. Using the company website they immediately refunded the money for that item. My suggestion would be to read the complete ingredients label for each product on the company website,....as even though many items look and sound healthy,...that isn't necessarily true. With that said I am willing to roll the dice for a year and hopefully be pleased with this membership,......if not I would still be content that I gave it a try.

Great to read the info. Yet you cannot do that without first agreeing to and purchasing a membership. Then if you decide this service is not for you they are horrid to deal with to get a refund
U have to wait for the special sales when those Lara bars are so much cheaper than anywhere else. Thrive does have unique brands but then they copy it in their own thrive brand and stop carrying the brand they copied, I don’t like that but sometimes it turns out better, not always tho. Thats when I have to buy directly from the unique brand, so it’s a nice way to introduce new things I would have never found out about.
So Thrive is cheaper but then you say the edge is going toward Amazon? That part i don't get because they have items out of stock. In that comparison chart if its out of stock i would have given it to Thrive.
Alot of their stuff CANNOT be found in a grocery store(riced broccoli, vegan parm, chocolate tahini, their own Thrive brand products, etc). I saw very unique sauces that I cannot get at other places. I expect it is pricey but to some it is worth it.
I haven't joined Thrive yet, but you're failing to mention that Thrive will price match. Also they are better for the environment as far as the shipments.
I tried thrive market once. I didn’t find anything that I liked or wanted that I couldn’t find at my local store. Got my money back as I was under the three day window as I didn’t find anything I wanted to order
