I mean if it were the actual cast at least I'd somewhat understand it, even if it'd still be a horrible idea, but just a random choir?!

>"Konami basically invented RBG (Rhythm Based Game) genre" That feel when you *know* that Enix's/Metro's "Bust A Move" ("Bust A Groove" in US/EU) came out in January of 1998, while very first Dance Dance Revolution came out in September of the same year (more than half a year later), and ブロードウェイ伝説 エレナ (NEC PC-98, via "Disc Station" magazine) was in 1994.
@@user-gk1mp1zk7n First PaRappa was initially released in December of 1996, true, but that wasn't the point I was making. The point was on the sheer fact that the whole "Konami/BEMANI *invented* the RBG genre" is an utter BS, completely misleading (for many even outright revisionist/history-altering) lie, regardless if it's said due to lack of experience or knowledge on the subject matter alike. And, again, even despite PaRappa being a late 1996 release, it's is a *fact* that ブロードウェイ伝説 エレナ was released and distributed via "Disc Station" magazine in 1994, two full years prior to PaRappa. And ブロードウェイ伝説 エレナ's main character/heroine later appeared as one of the guest/crossover characters in the "Puyo Puyo series"-licensed RBG game, called "Puyo Puyo DA!" which had both an arcade and a Dreamcast release (it even explicitly states on the game's box and in game's ads/supplementary material that it "features Ellena -from Devil May Cry series- "). Just as Harmonix/Red Octane didn't invent "guitar and drums" RBG genre games, but *literally arrogantly stole nearly everything* from/off of Guitar Freaks and DrumMania series (as arrogant and utterly lame westoids tend to do), so Konami/BEMANI itself never was the "first" to the RBG genre race as a whole, they didn't invent/create/coin it. They massively popularized (mainly due to Avex's involvement) and greatly expanded it, sure, there's no arguing that, but Konami/BEMANI doesn't have rights to RBG genre as a whole as some kind of copyrighted IP.
