i feel so bad for those Japanese presenters who clearly didn’t speak english as their first languages. They were trying so hard to be engaging, but the language barrier just made it awkward 😭
The Uncharted 4 moment wasn't that bad. At least everybody saw they were actually showing real gameplay and they recovered quickly restarting the demo. A tech demo is, in context, less worse at a tech conference that the awful things done with hosts, gimmicks, presenters, scripts, and pretend 'acting' that someone wrote, planned, rehearsed, and approved to go live.
Fun fact: the reason why that Uncharted 4 problem happened was the controller paired to the dev kit wasn't synced. They plugged it in and then it worked.
