I've found out that watching someone actually drawing helps me a lot more understanding things than reading it in a book and with step-by-step drawing examples for some reason. Somehow it clicked after I had watched a lot of your videos and I'm now able to draw faces! I can't make them look like someone specifically yet, or deliberately draw two that look the same, but it's such a fun thing to sit down and go, and then find out "who is it this time"! So thank you for every video you've made so far, and for every one you will make in the future! ✍️

I used to draw a lot. But then I left it for so long that my current drawings make me feel sad, seeing how far ive fallen. Your videos have helped me get back to basics, giving myself small instances of confidence which i sorely lacked. Its like finding a wedge in a tree, so that i may climb back up again. Thank you. wow, this really brought me some good memories, I used to draw like that, just exactly like that, but I kept telling myself that I was never going to improve, or that my style looked silly, that no one was ever gonna like it, that kind of stuff. But after watching your video I really feel like I can start again with art, and somehow I'm no longer scared of taking a sketchbook. TYSM

I haven't drawn much in 18+ years. One thing I really enjoy with your videos are that they are not too ASMR heavy. Your 1 minute videos are a great primer too! I highly suggest everyone find an IN-PERSON mentor of you want to REALLY improve your skill at drawing and Chommang is a close 2nd! Man, lemme tell ya UNLEARNING is harder than learning from no skill at all but it's fun! Thanks for the videos from the USA!

I genuinely don't know how to thank you. I've wanted to draw ever since I was in kindergarten, but I was never able to get a hang of it like my classmates, which led me to say I hated it and completely ignore it. I've envied literally every artist ever because all I've ever, ever, ever wanted to do was be able to draw. You might like to know: I was just about to give up, when i found your channel maybe 4 or 5 days ago. I was like "I think i may just give up", i thought this when i woke up early in the morning and it was my drawing day, but then for some miracle i decided to look on UA-cam for some method for drawing bodies, it was when i found your channel. You gave me inspiration to keep drawing, and more than that you gave me the will to draw again and again. Your methods are great, all of them, you make it so simple to draw. My dream is to become mangaka, and if that dream comes true one day i will credit you too on the manga.
I use to draw for a while in the past but I injured my hand and wrist pretty hard. It took a while for it to recover and so when I gotta ha con to drawing it felt like starting from scratch since I didn’t have this daily urge to keep practicing. I struggled a lot with faces for a while and eventually I found your video and I’m doing well again. I hope I don’t damage my wrist and/or hand again and have to suffer through the same process.

This is a good way to practice and get a feel for the proportions but after you advance to a higher level you can play around with the proportions and make them your OC (original character). From what i’ve learnt, you should make the character recognisable from a far so it’s important to change it up a bit but if it doesn’t suit your style or you don’t feel comfortable then you do you

구독자 많은 이유가 있네ㅇㅇ 가르칠때 목표를 계속 제시해주면서 가르치는게 중요한데(본인이 정확히 뭘 배우고 있고 어떤 목표를 달성해야 할지 직관적으로 알아야 함) 1. 이를 듣는 입장에서 부담스럽지 않는 톤과 효과음으로 설명해준다는 점 2. 정석(가이드라인) 그 자체에 얽메이지 말고 그림을 그리며 지금 이 수업의 목표가 잘 베껴그리기가 아닌 얼굴을 익히기 라는점 3. 이 와중에 계속 방목형 수업을 하는게 아니라 조금씩 얼굴의 구조에 대해서도 첨언하며 가르쳐주는 점 4. 마지막으로 결국 그려보는 연습을 열심히 하는게 좋다는 걸 제시하며 학생들의 의지로 열심히 그리게 유도하는점 그래서 즉 부담없이 목표를 제시하고, 결국 연습많이 해라 라는 과정까지 자연스레 유도함 그냥 존나 잘 가르침ㅇㅇ 비단 미술뿐만 아니라 그냥 공교육 학교 선생들 대부분이 이걸 할줄모름

3. 이 와중에 계속 방목형 수업을 하는게 아니라 조금씩 얼굴의 구조에 대해서도 첨언하며 가르쳐주는 점
4. 마지막으로 결국 그려보는 연습을 열심히 하는게 좋다는 걸 제시하며 학생들의 의지로 열심히 그리게 유도하는점
그래서 즉
부담없이 목표를 제시하고, 결국 연습많이 해라 라는 과정까지 자연스레 유도함
그냥 존나 잘 가르침ㅇㅇ
비단 미술뿐만 아니라 그냥 공교육 학교 선생들 대부분이 이걸 할줄모름
