It is wrong that Mujib did not want to break Pakistan. Mujib secretly used to meet Indian Consulate General in Dhaka in early 60s to create such circumstances which help creating Bangladesh. This is written by same Consulate General in his book. I have forgotten name of that diplomat. Moeed pirzada even made a video on that.

I had heard a few clips of Tariq Muneer Sahib, I liked it very much, but I could not get his introduction. So I searched UA-cam and found all his podcasts. Mr. Tariq Muneer seems to me to be one of those Pakistanis who want to do something for this country and whose life and death is for this country. Tariq Sahib's style of expression and experience, maturity is admirable. I wish there were think tanks in Pakistan that included Tariq Munir and others like him who would give good advice to the governments. But the tragedy of this country is that good people are left behind and incompetent, ignorant and corrupt people are in power.

As a student of history I consider Bhutto responsible for the destruction of Pakistan. Although Bhutto was an exceptionally intelligent, capable and shrewd leader, he unfortunately misused these qualities. Bhutto was indeed foreign qualified, but his blood contained dictatorial and feudal tendencies. Bhutto was full of egoism and arrogance. Bhutto was used to insulting his subordinates and opponents. He was not convinced to listen to the opponent. Even the senior workers of Bhutto's own party were disgusted by Bhutto's harshness. Bhutto himself was secular in nature but he bowed down to religious groups. Even in the 1977 election, Bhutto won votes through rigging, the nationwide movement shook Bhutto. But Bhutto was a victim of narcissism. And they could not understand the situation correctly. So when General Zia declared martial law, sweets were distributed all over the country and people celebrated. And all the people of Bhutto's own party had left Bhutto, so Bhutto was left alone and General Zia executed him.

Extremely disappointed. This is such a biased interview. This podcast is nothing short of a propaganda piece. I was expecting better from this old guy keeping in mind his age and experience but i was wrong. First of all bhutto never said idhar hum udhar tum, it was a newspaper headline created by its editor. Inko jab yehi nahi pata to baki kya cheezen pata hongi. Secondly karachi doesnt produce 70 percent revenue. It is factually wrong. It was propagated by mqm in musharaf time. This podcast is a propaganda. Nothing more. Har kisi ko intellectual banne ka shauq hai. Very sad.

a bit biased I would say with due respect. the mujeeburehman's program was too inclined towards mujeeb. as a matter of fact, there were quite similarities between both. the guest ignored those negative personality traits of mujeeb while highlighted those aspects regarding Bhutto. such as sheikh mujeeb created several armed groups in Bangladesh apart from normal police and army. and there is alot in history regarding the activities of those armed groups however the guest didn't said a word about that. however, talked about the armed group developed by Bhutto at length.. sorry... but otherwise as every time program was much knowledgeable...
