Excellent video. I have now watched a few of your videos as I prepare for a Caribbean cruise in a few months. There are very few vloggers who cover the various destinations in detail. They mostly talk about the ship and the experience on board ship, giving the destinations a glance over. Thank you so much for going in the opposite direction. I now have a better idea of these island countries by watching your videos. Please keep it up! 🌹🌹🌹
Very well done video. As mentioned previously I appreciate how well you explained the Port when you get off the cruise ship and what we should expect and what we can do. Also I greatly enjoyed that fact you are not like other video bloggers who just film themselves talking the whole time and not the actual location. Appreciate the great work!
Hope you enjoy your visit! We were at the port again this past December and will have a video about our visit to the Grand Cayman Turtle Centre in the coming months!
We walked at a very leisurely pace (taking photos and videos along the way) and it took us about 2-3 hours from the time we exited the cruise center until the time we reached the end of our walking tour.
1) do they accept U.S. currency? Is there another exchange fee because of their currency? My friend said to add on another 25 % to the bill! 2) where is the best public beach to hang out for the day? Are there restrooms for the public there? 3) for cruisers, where can we rent Beach Chairs and Umbrellas for the day? 4) at the public beach, where is the best place to eat?
If you want to book an excursion through your cruise ship, you'll want to book that ahead of time because they will likely sell out quickly. However, if you're looking for a local excursion, you'll likely be able to find options the day you arrive in port.
I asked my Carnival representative if we had to have covid vaccines to go on the cruise and she said no, but I'm seeing that the sign at the port says to carry a covid vaccination card. Is this something that their country insists on?
Our video was recorded during our visit in August 2022. COVID vaccination requirements are changing nearly constantly, so it's best to follow the guidance provided by your cruise representative.

Time wise, how long is your walking tour? It looks very interesting!

Done stingray city there. It's a bucket list thing but kinda expensive.
When we were there, once you left the pprt area there were lots of tour operators offering various trips. Did you see them still?
There were only a handful outside of the port area on the day we visited. Most of the tour operators we saw were located inside the port area.
Can you book a Stingray excursion on the spot or is that need to be done in advance?
