Probably been said already but the Beastman is a homage to the old Imperial army/guard beast trooper. He had plasma pistol, chainsword. Great figure.

As a Drukari player, I think he looks very.......Grotesque.
@@Lakefront_Khan I was just thinking you could take that Goliath juicer torso and put it on a talos base with face mask. Swap hands for weapons etc. And you'd have a very fleshy/mechanical Talos.
The beastman is so good!
I converted som Khorne Berserkers for a buddy of mine by using beast men torsos and heads, they look real good.
Also, Space Dwarves need to be a thing. Make it happen GW xD
Never really looked into their range, forgot FW even did Necromunda
That first model I can picture bursting through a wall with a "Hay you guys!"
Problem is the two face guy used to be one of two rogue psyker in the renegade and heretics range. They removed the chaos banner, got rid of the second in the pack , increased the price and made him a necromunda character.
I would probably say that Necromunda has the most solid range in GW's current product selection. The amount of nonsense you can do with necromunda gangs - hell even just these characters - is nuts. GW Laura's Medieval Ad Mech dudes are just one example of Necromunda models being a way for converters to show off, which is probably my favourite part of the hobby.
There's some wild variation in Forgeworld paint jobs. SOme masterclass stuff and some of it I look at and think, I could do better than that. And that's not a good thing.
I frequently see Forgeworld paint jobs & assume that the sculpts are terrible. Then I'll see pictures online of the same model that others have painted, and realize how wrong I was.

As this was uploaded I was literally just telling my boyfriend how awesome the bounty hunters were and that I'm tempted to get into Necromunda instead of doing my genestealer cults project.
Necromunda is great! Only need 10 models or so a side to get started and so much room for creativity.
And as a bonus, there are rules for Genestealer Cults gangs for Necromunda too.
Funny you say this because I've looked into using Necromunda models for my Genestealer Cult army ^^
So far I got some Orlock gangers on Jackal bikes and some of them are riding a Goliath Truck
Necromunda is cool; leaves room individualism and narrative.

If I got the Goliath Berserker, I'd probably replace the head with a fully masked/helmeted one. It really does bring down the model as a whole.

The Squats are just of an absolute quality.
The 'roided out Goliath is my dream basis for some greater possessed in a Creations of Bile force.

I've not seen a large amount of these models. They're really nice looking and tempt me to get into necromunda but I just don't trust specialist games to stay active in my local area. Killteam, warcry and underworlds have all died off in my local area but 40k and AoS are eternal.

im running a Imperial guard / astra militarum army in 40K and I bought the Escher gangs and I will... One day turn them into a squad for my warhammer 40k army. veterans or something not sure.
@@Zack_Wester I place Space Wolves and Eldar. Dropped killteam recently after it totally died in my local area (It did have over a year of a good community though).
IMO Combat patrol is superior anyway now thanks to the new terrain rules.
Running a Necro gang in an imperial guard army sounds like a really good and thematic idea. They could of been conscripted as a last resort in the defense of a hive city; or captured and force to conscript for freedom.
@@stupidfrog2205 or been veterans, I will paint them to look somewhat like the rest of the guard army so the Female Echer game will not have any of that Striking Yellow stuff.
Because lets face it Warhammer40K have this Elites are the worse when it comes to Following Uniform issued standards.
Might add it I will just use the model they are not actual Echer gang members.
Note I got a stil unpainted Heavy Weapon team thats just a Guardmen whit a Rocket launcher(whit out the face shield part), and a Fenri wolf whit a few rockets, two lasguns and backpacks mostly because I could.
I also bought the geansteeler biker team that will be turned into rough riders. not sure what to make of the quad bike might become a squad lead or I turn it into a Heavy weapon team we see.

Considering you dont need many minis to run an "army", you can easily supply all the needed miniatures for both sides. Which means that you can literally go to your FLGS and ask "Who wants to play Necromunda" and help get new people into it.

Whenever i saw the Ammo Squat, i always wonder how he's supposed to carry THREE ammo cases.
There is a perfect fix for the 'Zerker model, remove the read and replace it with a head in a luchador mask... instant Bane

My favourite is easily Kria. I'm not interested at all in 40k, but I do want her as a painting project (once I've done the other Escher models). Such an attitude! Such a headpiece!

For the zerker, buy it to get a necromunda Goliath gang? Outlandish idea I know they should be more for conversions. Also, the ammo jack and dome runner are kind of bland as their not named bounty hunters like most of the others, their people you hire for their expertise
If we ever get traitor guard/lost and the damned which could be the same faction we need beast men in there a melee/range unit. Something like kroot maybe melee but with a little range
think alot of the mutantish ones would fit well modified to a fabius bile retinue

Don't know if you're familiar with the musical subgenre of Psychobilly, but that big Goliath bugger is quite blatantly based off Kofte De Ville, the front man from Mad Sin.

Just realised there is an awful lot of similarity between these Necromunda Bounty Hunters and Borderlands bosses and NPCs, and I say that in a very good way. They all have tonnes of individual character, different yet harmonious design language that they work together. Can't quite fathom your criticisms at 14:40 but that's subjectivity for you - I'm now very tempted to get the squat and human ammo-jacks in particular
that alligator is really hard to look at, giving me double vision makes it hard to pin point any details.

I like counting individual models in different lines. Its so bizarre that there are more Necromunda options on the FW website than there are options for all but 5 non-space marines army in the standard 40k.

If you add a dress or formal looking skirt to her (somehow) I think that would compliment the hair style better. A in between compromise of forced practicality and the appearance of looking like a upper hive noble - trying to give off a air of importance
The first guy stole way too much from the Dark Eldar line, like grotesque injections etc.

So, I know it wouldn't be feasible for you financially,, but with FW stuff, I wish you could review the casting quality when doing a range review. I have some of the Necromunda blokes and I am rather frustrated with the quality of the casts. The sculpts are fine, but the amount of flash, misscasts and bubbles is super-frustrating. I mean, the casting quality of much smaller competitors like Artel or Wargame Exclusive is usually so much better. Given FW's premium pricing, I'd appreciate premium resin quality.
The problem with that is that it's not constant. Sometimes you get a good cast, sometimes it's awful. I don't have much finecast (mostly Chaos Familiars), and it already is quite different between them.
I've come to the conclusion that around 85% of all the bad faces on GW models look bad because of the paintjob and not the model
This is true. The gw team arent the best at painting faces
They paint them like opera singers, good from a distance but excessive up close.

Ah, Forge Wolrd. Place that used to make gigantic models that barely anyone could afford and no one wanted to play against, which then dicovered that they can upsell smaller things and treat customers like dumb, blind wallets on legs to make gargantuan profit with miniscule effort.
Alan was keeping it together. Without him, Forge World has no direction and just flails around, heading towards oblivion.
The illustrations for Belladonna are great. The model is just a terrible rendition of it.
