Wu Chang is a strong hunter.... when he has full presence his first chase is definitely his weak point but his late game is very strong but there's many games where I won against wu Chang by just avoiding getting hit for a while and them not having insolence. But I prefer wu Chang than nightmare since they both technically have good end game mechanic
Personally if you wanna play bad ping (I have it too), main survivor. Survivor with bad ping is doable but hunter with bad ping is actual hell, you're so screwed by it it's not even fun to play. You move slower, your hitbox is worse, etc. Please main survivor :(
I'd suggest bonbon, naiad, joseph or even hell ember. the first 2 are ones where it's more easier to get an easy down, the last 2 however have good map/cipher/rescue pressure but bad chase so stick to the play style you want. tho i also agree at this point don't play hunter if it's unbearable.

Slade who is the best hunter for someone with awful ping? I struggle hitting survs in front of me with naiad
Tbh with awful ping I wouldn’t even play the game. You only end up hurting yourself and your points. If I had to pick though probably ripper
