The first time I heard somebody save me, I was crouched down in a bathroom, getting high, but yet at the same time crying out for help, because I just wanted the pain in my past and life to stop. I've been clean 3 years, and haven't looked back. Thank you jelly roll
Jelly Roll is a perfect example of someone using their God given talent and purpose to change lives and help people. Imagine a world with a lot more people like him.

Your song 'Save Me' actually saved me. Truly, I lost my son last year to an overdose and he always kept trying to get me to listen to some guy named Jelly Roll and I shooed him away everytime, I figured it was some horrible gangsta rap crap and ignored him. Then I lost him and I thought well I'm going to at least do something for him I didn't do in his life, so I found a song by Jelly Roll, first one I came across was 'Save Me' and it did. All I wanted to do was lay down and die, to be with him but you "Saved Me".
Same as I, but the shoe was on the other foot. I had lived a life which i thought was a life 10 people combined couldn't didn't live, traveled the world, lived in more countries than people have been to states but always when I visited mama she said "you could be so much more". Me in my own thing thought sure mama but darn I think i am doing great friends I knew are envious. But I wasn't, sure I was making tons of $$ partying like a rock star no boss but myself then mama got cancer 24 months ago and I moved home to care for her, then I realized slowly what she meant. For instance been to India buying antiques 100 times and never thought once to see the Taj Mahal as " was to busy" or so I thought, I wasn't busy sure but not to bust to slow down and enjoy the lucky things I was blessed with. Then one day was on mamas sun porch and Jelly's song I kept playing as I traded stocks during the day and cam in and mama said "do have to play that song?" and I said that is your son only realizing it now and she said it sounds like "ewww ewww and eww" sounds like shit. I finally left the laptop in there and went outside for a minute and it played and she go it, and understood. She told me it was what she was always trying to tell me, you can be so much better if it weren't for you" my family has a saying "know on can do the damage to you, that you can do to yourself" mama passed 7 weeks ago and I credit Jelly and his poignant words so beautifully sung to my mama and I finally knowing one another and most of all me knowing myself. Take care and enjoy memories of your beautiful boy and those times when he was focused to say mama listen to this so you can know me and my demons. You could not have saved him so don't blame yourself just cherish that now you know and he knows you know now I am sure of it.
BTW just before she passed Jelly Rolls "I only speak to God when I need a favor" and damn was I not speaking to him but he had other plans.

Wish I could find the old caddy that got junked and ate the cd many miles I bumped this fat asses soul touching music and seeing him blow up reminds me of the grass routes hustle. Me throwing the music on with 5 other grown ass men while we traveled and as I was just cutting my teeth on the iron. Such relatable vibes!

Omg! I balled! This man deserves it more than anyone. The most humble and relatable artist I've met. Started listening over 11yrs ago and to see how far he has come professionally, as a parent and especially as a song writer. He has a way of making you feel and understand the lyrics. I love going to his shows because of the variety of people who attend. Music brings all people, cultures, genres and ages together.
Heard him on the radio the other day and my JAW dropped! Soo many more people have the chance to be saved and heard now. It's great!

Jelly, I am so proud of you. I cried when you were on that stage singing. 2006 I was broken and locked up trying to find anything to grab on to, I grabbed meaningful music. Stuff on the radio is okay but I needed something deeper and found the underground dirty south music and here I am in 2022 still clean and still hanging on to meaningful music. You are #1 in my eyes. Thank you. I cried while you were on that stage singing, for you, for me and for those out there struggling.

I’ve been trying to get clean for almost 20. I get some time and then fall off again. I’d never heard of jelly roll until yesterday. His shit hits my soul hard. Where have I been? How did I not hear of him until now?!
I'm one of the broken you represent. Luckily, piece by piece, broken can be put back together. I'm so happy to say that this broken girl has been sober just over 4 years & life keeps getting a little better everyday. We DO recover and we are everywhere!! 💕💕💕

I'll admit, I'd seen reactions from people I highly respect and videos to Jelly Roll, but never thought to click on it. My dad actually introduced me to you. Son of a Sinner came on in the truck after doing some camp shopping. Got home and I've been going through every video that pops up. Save Me is an absolute masterpiece. Congrats on everything man. Im a 48 yr old single dad and I got clean from opiates three years ago and y’all have been an inspiration to me throughout my journey. There is no age limit to turning your life around and you and I are proof of that. I went from making $100k+/year to working a job at a warehouse making $16/hr and it’s been rough but it reminded me the value of hard work. Y’all keep changing lives for the better and your success will continue to grow.

My boy had the privilege of opening for you at Pops in Sauget, Illinois a few years back, you have definitely jumped leaps and bounds from the persona you were putting out then to the man you are now and I'm so happy for you. I tried to get to the other side when it wasn't my time last October and your music amongst others are why I am still here today. Can't say every day isn't a struggle but at least y'all get me through the nights so far

I'm dying of heart failure and my wife divorced me after getting diagnosed and save me hits deep cause I feel like a lost cause .... even though I live in vanlife full time now and have dreams and goals to make my final time the best life chapter of my life you give me hope man .

Jelly I can’t thank you enough you saved my life a hundred times. I grew up just poor white trash. I’ve done every drug I can think of and I sold my weight in all of them. I am on my third marriage and my wife and I are separated but I went to rehab broke lost and in a death spiral. My wife said there was no chance. I was ready to commit suicide and a little country girl from Kentucky told me to play jelly roll on you tube. Your music spoke to me an showed me no matter how dark it gets there is hope. I never caught any charges by the grace of god but been so close many times. I have now been clean 60 days and listen to you every morning. My wife and I talk everyday and we are getting closer.
