for the 1st example, it's not necessary to know what complementary means but u would need to know what an acute rt triangle is to give that counterexample so i guess sometimes logic helps only if u already know something about the subject
Can it be logically argued though that on your Manuel Spring Break trip, we can't infer anything as question doesn't say if Spring Break trip is an international or domestic destination? ie: answer would be need more info, or can't say etc...
