I recognized the spot, and the better half and I went down there this morning. Caught my first flounder ever!! He was only 13" and went back, but followed your suggestions and had a blast. (The man was waiting at our car on a Tuesday morning, so it's always good to follow the regs, lol. 😂)
@@pamelajones532 wow very cool. Congrats on your first flattie and thanks for sharing. Yeah in that spot FWC almost always cruises through there checking. Best to always follow the regs and be worry free. Thanks for the support!!! Keep on fishin!!
Caught one at FT George inlet last week on a jig head and mud minnow that was about 8.5lb. That's my biggest on rod n ree I've gigged a couple that was a little bigger near the coast guard station at mayport.
@@captaincavemanfishing thank you. I kinda wish I wud have brought my cooler with sum ice but I was in a hurry to get out there. Thanks for the support brother.
@@pstephenfife5043 buddy that’s the story of my life. it just wudn’t b a fishing trip if I remembered everything.. there’s ALWAYS something I forget or misplace. I’m just glad I remembered to put pants on. True story.
Yes and yes. I tend to do much better for flat fellers on the out going in certain spots. Yes lures will work as well, it just gets a bit expensive fishing around rocks if you know what I mean. lol. Hooks r much cheaper than jig heads for sure. Thnx for watching brother!!
Dude I frequent the ne florida area alot for saltwater and I immediately loved your content when I found it. We gotta get together in person and catch a flounder limit. Whats your email? Id love to set up a trip

@@EDCandLace that’s a nice one. By far one of my favorite table fish. It’s hard for me to resist a nice flounder fish and chips basket.
