Sir, thank you so much for this vid (and the re-assembly one) - my much loved Elitebook 2560p died recently but I bought a reclaimed motherboard and by following your very detailed steps I am now back up and running - your vid has to be one of the best that I've come across in terms of it's great detail - thank you once again.
Mr. Alan , if you not buy the motherboard yet , i wanna recommend you to upgrade your motherboard with the 2570p motherboard.... 2570p is faster than 2560p... the motherboard is the same but 2570p motherboard is from the 3rd gen intel and 2560p is from the 2nd gen intel.... the processor from 3rd gen intel is faster than 2nd gen and also much better graphic with hd4000.....

It's a broadband card, one that would work with your SIM card if you wanted to use up your data allowance on the laptop.
Damn. Some of my screws were screwed on to tight and now none of my screw drivers will work. Even the smallest ones. Help!

That's the modem card. Used not much these days, unless you connect your
laptop to a fax machine.

Where is the battery ?
It was removed in the very initial step of the whole process - you couldn't possibly fiddle with your motherboard with the power supply still live.
