@@Engineer9736 Ukraine was once part of the Soviet Union and are armed with mostly Russian equipment: tanks, fighter planes, etc. So they already have that problem. Although, like Tess says: they better stick to their current tactics, since the Ukranian army is much smaller and going head to head will cost them dearly.

There's a good chance the those tractors were made in European factories, As John Deere does import many tractors back into the North American market

This is bigger than most people realize, especially long term. Every military plans to recover their armored vehicles and other equipment after a battle. There are entire units dedicated to recovery, repair and reissue in the field for this very reason. The side that controls the recovery effort so thoroughly as Ukraine does will win.

These data stand pretty solid against for instance the 3% of the national GDP contributed by the automotive industry in a country like the USA whose economy is far from being "strictly agrarian"

@Nick V They dumped the VDV in the middle of the black sea, they tried to do an air assault in contested air space without any anti air suppression which resulted in many transport planes getting wrecked by stingers or surface to air missiles, their tanks are running out fuel and getting stolen by the farmers seen in this video, their MREs expired 7 years ago so the Russian soldiers had to resort to looting stores to survive.

@@joachimschoder It does actually happen, the Ukrainian government declared that all seized Russian equipment doesn't have to be filed on their taxes. Just like how low taxes will encourage business, this will encourage more Ukrainian to steal more Russian equipment.

They don't have trains in Ukraine to carry the tanks, and the supply lines are broken constantly.
The army is targeting the supply lines instead of the tanks themselves and the Russian don't have a way around this.

@@ipick4fun27 Sadly, Hollywood has convinced half the world that any video is just CGI. Remember that farm tractors are literally designed to drag lumps of metal through the ground. They're pretty powerful machines. Tanks are heavy but, as long as they're not stuck in mud, they'll move.
