- A video showing a brave Ukrainian man mocking Russian troops to their face and offering them a “tow them back to Russia” has gone viral.
Translations on social media show the soldiers telling the man they’re out of gas, and have broken down on the road.
Then, the man offers to “tow them back to Russia”, causing the Russian soldiers to laugh.
The soldiers ask what the media is saying about the invasion, with the driver saying that Ukraine “is winning, Russians are surrendering”.

These people really are brother nations. They're walking right up to each other and having conversations all over. This shouldn't be happening.

Not going to say people haven't been terribly effected by this war but don't call it a bloody war, not many people have died so far and all these videos seem to show that the Russian troops and Ukrainians don't have any real want to hurt eachother. This exchange just goes to show that they are not the enemies that Putin makes them out to be. They are nations that know each other well. They have friends and relatives on both sides of the border. This war on Ukraine is a tragedy and so unnecessary.

This is one of the best militaries in the world, apparently, "we are out of fuel, don't know where we are, we don't know where we're going either", that's just wonderful news. Also, it's pretty clear that these soldiers didn't want a war, they are probably all 20-30 years old.

That invasion was not planned in the first place. Putin was gathering troops on the border to intimidate ukraine and the west into giving in but the west rejected all of his claims. He couldn't pull the troops back as that would make him look weak internationally so in a way it was a desperate attack to save his face. Thats why putins army is struggling right now because it was never intended for the actual invasion to begin with. That said the declaration of war was shock to us all and nobody expected it. It is sad that our soldiers and our brothers ukrainians are losing their lives right now meaninglessly fighting each other and all because of one paranoid old man sitting in our kremlin. I wish we could do more but i cheer on ukrainian military and hope they will drive putin back

Im more worried about ukrainians, we actually have some relatives living in ukraine so we're worried about them. We couldn't contact them since the war broke out.

The analysis for a while has been that Russia lacked the logistic ability to supply all of those forces in an invasion. It was one of the primary reasons among analysts for why an invasion wouldn't happen. It won't just be fuel either, in the next couple weeks Russian forces will run short on food, medical supplies, emergency evacuation capacity and ammunition if the war stretches on.

The tank was not Russian. it was a Ukraine tank, a T-64 and had none of the white markings that all the Russian tanks have on all sides so they are not mistakenly targeted from the air.

Yes and no. Look up "Holodomor." Yes, most are descended from Kievan Rus and many Russians reside in Ukraine and Stalin relocated people all over the USSR. Many Ukrainians fought WITH the Nazis because they hated being under the soviet boot (enemy of my enemy and all). It's an interesting dynamic. Many have relatives on both sides of the border. BUT... Ukraine wants to be independent and FREE. Tidbit info, historically, Poland was always the biggest threat and enemy of Ukraine. I am not Ukrainian but did live there for a while. The people are truly amazing and proud.

Maybe it's a blessing for them to have run out of fuel. I'm very certain many Russian soldiers are there against their will. Their hands are tied they either follow their orders or get treated as traitors. Tough situation to be in.

I've seen only strength and courage from Ukrainians since this mess started. I have huge respect for these people and their nation.
Here in London we have unruly little brats on their scooters or bicycles wearing all black looking like their auditioning for the armed special services, send them to Ukraine and let them see what true bravery looks like. For the man whom spoke to the Russian army with no fear, I'm truly honoured by your valour.

At the moment the soldiers laughed, I hope everyone realises they have common culture, they are just people, in that moment they had a joke. That for a second they realised what they actually were doing was wrong. Even if this does not change the events this war, I hope it haunts them and makes them fight damn to ensure there isn't a next war. Everyone on the ground is brave. Their leaders are not

@@timthehippy9478 All the leaders are, the Ukranian people just strike me as so brave, but their president hides behind a wall of conscriptions. As brave as they may be, no NATO power will step in, they are going to get killed, and for nothing, as Russia will take the capital and remove the government. If Zelensky did cars for his people, he would give himself up. At least then, most of the men and young would be alive, and not killed to protect a president that wouldn't do the same for them
@@davidwagstaff47 If President Zelenskiy were really such a coward, he would not still be in the country, let alone in Kyiv. And giving himself up to the Russians would be pointless - they're trying to take the whole country, not just him. And the Ukrainians, soldiers and civilian volunteers alike, are fighting for their country as a whole, not just one man. He may be a significant target of the Russians, but the fighting would continue regardless of his presence.
Plus, even if you want to criticize him for not being directly on the front lines while his city is under enemy attack - which I personally think is a smart move for a country's commander in chief, but one that I suppose could be open to nitpicking - then that's one thing. But he doesn't deserve to be equated with Putin, who is ordering the deaths of thousands of people while he himself skulks in the Kremlin and stays far removed from any active warzones.
Ukraine is too merciful, and should fire 50-100 missiles at Moscow and Belarus within 3 minutes of the first Russian missile attack.
@@MeadowMonkeyMyers Putin is worse, granted, but Zelensky could stop his people being killed. The ukranians fighting for their country are nothing short of heroic, but give them that choice. You can't pretend you're a democratic leader, and then decide all men in your country can't leave and have to fight, that's tyranny. And he can't leave Ukraine. If he does, the war is over, he loses power, which is all he cares about. He'll sacrifice all his nation, then he'll retreat and escape, trust me on this. He's in a tight spot with limited options, but the options are give yourself up and lose Ukraine, or order your nations men to all die, then lose Ukraine. It's an awful thing that is happening, they cannot win, but they can at least reduce casualties

I was in the US army. Plenty of times we were sitting somewhere wondering where we were supposed to go. Operational Security being what it is, you usually don't know where you're going until you get there. :)
