    In this No Limit Hold Em Poker VLOG I am playing Texas Hold Em at Hustler Casino in Los Angeles. Hustler Casino is the home of the Hustler Live Stream where players like Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Garrett Adelstein, Phill Hellmuth, Mariano, Rampage Poker, Nick Vertucci, Ryan Feldman, Ryusuke, Doug Polk, Matt Berkey, Nik Airball and Mr Beast have played. I am trying to gamble my way to a big chip stack and win lots of cash!

    Beautiful episode. Really highlights the ups and the DOWNS. Can't be winning all the time and when that happens we all get in a mental funk. Love it Gary.

    I dunno about that turn size with QTo, on large sprs my instinct is to overbet or check when the value range is so narrow. Unless you're going to x/raise and bet the turn with some Jx, but then you'd probably want to split overbet and 1/3 - though that just seems too fancy for live poker

    • @euanswan7187
      @euanswan7187 11 місяців тому

      Yeah I agree, also think river is surely just x or jam? Value range just tiny and even just QT a shit ton of bluffs.

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  11 місяців тому +1

      I don't play OB on the Jx, 9x or straight completing turns but the rest of them I would for sure! Just ran it in the Wizard and we have a range check on the 9 turn, it's disaster turn for us!

      @@garyblackwoodpoker ok, range check makes sense, though I think in live poker we still want to bet here with nutted hands vs most opponents, since even decent regs will pot control hands like overpairs. And vs those decent regs we need a few bluffs to balance it out
      I haven't played online poker in years btw, so just throwing some random thoughts, Im definitely not a gto expert :)

    In the QQ vs KK hand, you lose to KK, AA, JJ and all the sets on this zero draw board... AJ wouldn't play that way as it doesn't need that much protection.

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  3 місяці тому +1

      You are being results oriented. I have an overpair in a 3bet pot vs a loose player who I KNOW will play AJ like this.

    Hi gaz. Did it cross your mind to chop the pot with the guy who didn’t know the rules? Personally if I couldn’t beat a straight on the board where the chap thought he had a straight I would offer him a chop. It feels too predatory to take someone’s money who blatantly made a mistake regarding the rules.

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  11 місяців тому +1

      Not once. He was asked three or four times if he was sure he wanted to play and he insisted he did. Offering to chop means he is just freerolling everyone at the table if he sticks it in with nine high.

    13:07 I don't think theoretically shoving on the turn would be the play there mate. Also think you can go smaller here especially with the ace being a club. I'd just bet 150 again. Also check raising with a set on A72 rainbow flop here is probably wrong. You should be betting it on the flop I'm pretty sure. Good luck.
