Guys and girls, just an FYI I made a couple of slight errors with the graphics, I know there aren't two 6 of spades in the deck, and I know the river is wrong in the A2 hand. Not engagement farming, promise! If you enjoyed the show then give us a sub
I'd love to know what the villain had, when the board came kings full of tens. Seems like he shouldn't have a king there, very often. But if he was bluffing, it was very impressive on his part.
Do you think it’s profitable flatting pre flop on sb and then calling 3bet with 22 (like you) or any pocket pair until 55/66??? I think overall it’s not a profitable play and every time you don’t make a set (and they are a lot), you just check/fold. And beyond that you will play the whole hand out of position. Do you think in that game it is a profitable play?? Ty in advance for the answer ✌🏻
7:10 surely calling a UTG open with 22 in small blind is losing EV play right? I feel like you have to play super face up and might not even get value when you do hit a set. Idk, I tend to full 22 in SB facing a large open Also it’s a $1500 cap right? So when you call $40 and it gets raised up to $200, is calling an extra $160 profitable? Best case scenario you can only win max ~$1700 if you go all in against one player right if you hit a set?
Well that's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one: "..nitty asian kid in the game.". Made me laugh and almost sprayed my drink on my dog. You're just gonna have to tell him that he is doing it all wrong and there is nothing wrong with stereotypes. "You gotta lean into the depravity! Own the debauchery! It would be a great honor to be your mentor. Seriously! Okay?Okay. First lesson: You've got to realize your equity in this 'den of inequity'.Kid, repeat after me, 'debauchery is the way'." Dealer: "Cocktails!, table 3!" Let's GOOOOO!!!
Hey, newer player here. Why do you fold on the hand where run out is KK1010K? You’re playing the board, but the board is the nuts (unless opponent had a K).
Ya we only lose to JJ, QQ, AA and any Kx, but when my opponent bets so much I determined he probably had one of those hands, so I let it go. Glgl on your poker journey!
@@garyblackwoodpoker poker is tough, man! you'll learn what a flop and turn is soon enough. maybe watch some coaching videos to expediate the learning process?
@@garyblackwoodpoker if you’re insinuating that I’m insinuating that you’re fudging your results or not showing your “losing” days then maybe you need to grow thicker skin.
That's exactly what you were doing. Take a peek at any other videos I post and there are plenty of losing sessions in there. Go ahead and now pretend that's not what you were doing x@@enriquestewart5762

Hey gary why is the standard raise here 35? Is it bc its a 5/5/10 game? So extra 5 for the extra sb?
I would feel like i had to play a few orbits after the big hands even if i was late to soccer lol 😂
Haha I get that but I’m there 9 hours a day 3/4 days a week and I love my soccer too much to stay. It’s not ideal but it is what it is
What a good feeling on that last hand, eh?

Great vlog Gary! What days are you normally at Hustler! I’ll swing by and give you a fist 👊 bump on the way to 2/5.

JJ, QQ, Kx, AA can all go for value. Only intuitive bluffs are under pairs starting on the turn when they get counterfeit
@@PhonyBolognathis is true but the JJ and QQ are unlikely to bet turn so it feels like Kx or bluff!

oxymoron? Asians have mostly been huge nits for a decade or so especially young ones.
Were you filling out a high hand card in the beginning? Details
Yes they were doing a draw in December which spoiler alert I completely bricked!!

What do you think he had on the last hand with AKdd?
I reckon he had JJ you know, he was pretty stunned!
You should let him open his hand first for the Vlog if he’s supposed to open first

What’s interesting about it? I went to LA with the intention of returning to the UK with a nice backlog of VLOGS to release. Few more to go.
