Hey man. 94 400l 2 stroke. It’ll fire right up and idle great for 3 minutes. Won’t rev (could potentially be a carb thing). But at that 3 minute mark it’ll just die. No spark. No power coming to the coil (blue/white wire). Let it sit for a couple hours, fires right up for about 3 minutes
Hey i have a polaris magnum 425 changed stator, pickup sensor,coil and cdi box ran for a couple hours and died and now i am getting one spark no spark problems, i have disconnected the killswitch and still the same problem have any idea (i think it might be te cdi)
I would check the gap on the pick up sensor. I’d check the flywheel and make sure the magnets and all that are good. If the kill is for sure disconnected, I’d suspect the cdi.
My CDI is good but no spark still and changed the stator as well along with the pickup coil, checked the killswitch too it’ll spark once but then disappears. This is a polaris trail boss 2005 model, I can’t see that magnet either its on the inside of the magneto
I’d definitely check the fly wheel and make sure it’s looks good. Check the gap between the pickup and make sure it’s close enough. If you want to eliminate the kill switch as an issue, I believe it’s the black wire coming out of the cdi but I can not remember for sure which color it is. Been a while since I messed with one
Bro I gotta 99 scrambler 400 2stroke has no spark but I replaced cdi staitor the stater works till I plug up the cdi then I lose everything iny ideas man

yup my 1998 polaris magnum 425 died no spark. Put a new exciter coil on for 20 bucks. No dice. Gonna try your video method. Thanks

I put in new stator, pick up last Summer and easy to start through Winter, till this Summer, have to crank for a while before a weak start.....

Have you seen this in Honda quads? I have a Honda 200sx that I can ride and then it will die. No spark. Let it set awhile and it’ll fire back up
I haven’t seen it in Honda’s. I’d probably lean toward a bad cdi box or coil
I have no spark I replaced the coil staor and starter new spark plug no spark on a 1996 polaris xplorer 300 4x4
And I did disconnected the black wire for the kill switch

Did you try to disconnect the black kill wire running up to the CDI? Or is ta what you already disconnected?
Might sound dumb but if your machine has a speedometer/tach, disconnect it because they are known for shorting and killing spark.
