This movie was BEYOND AMAZING!!!! It was a great story and a wild ride! Being able to see such strong well rounded characters, some nice and some not so nice, in a type of movie thats not typically made for us, was inspiring. I've already watched it 4 times over the weekend!! ☺️
I could not get Cherokee Bill's angle in the film. He spoke so peacefully and was such a calm and mellow person l couldn't see why he was part of the crew. Then it finally hit me near the end. Rufus and Trudy were mean people. Bill turned out to be the worst part of the gang.... the manipulating snake.

This was an AMAZING MOVIE!!!! Everything was fantastic from the set design, the historical nods and depictions, the cast!!!!! OMG was all I could say. I watched this five times already and have turned all my peeps onto this! Great jobs folks!!!!

For those who don't know "The Lone Ranger" series was based off of "Bass Reeves", played by Delroy Lindo. Bass Reeves was an American law enforcement officer. He was the first black deputy U.S. marshal west of the Mississippi River.
Well Tarantino doesn't water down his movies, the sad reality is Django showed history in every true gory detail including the language that was used at the time 🤷♂️ Django is a masterpiece in my opinion because it didn't water anything down, I however genuinely enjoyed this movie too

"A new kind of Western". To be honest, this is my 2nd time watching African-American Western. Remember the film Posse from the 90s? One of the best Western like Harder They Fall.

As one who’s been studying and doing presentations on this topic since the 8th grade…the answer is “No.” 😡 These Black and Native American/Black mixed people were legends and their true stories are far more interesting than this stylized ‘Hollywood’ movie..

7:14 I noticed many black people seem to be like that, they have a greyish-bluish rim around the pupils. The last time I travelled to the Caribbean\St Lucia I saw this feature a lot. Especially in the elderly....
The actors aced their roles. It started off making me feel like I would love the movie. Somewhere towards the middle that feeling started to simmer down and didn’t change. The background music was great at drawing me in until it became a bit overkill throughout the movie. More music without the words for me personally. The movie started to seem a bit rushed in some aspects. The redwood town set up looked too much like a stage play set up. The storyline ending though was great. I didn’t see it coming at all. The movie sill gets a 👍🏾 from me.
