Back in my day MTv was ahead of the curb but they too late now. The warning is worldwide, most MTv employees never left NYC or the lil country Town they grew up in. The warning is what MTV was 30 yrs ago.... Doogie

They got lucky the Blue Stones and Royal Blood are a duo...
Reignwolf is a trio though. And as cool as The Warning is (which is very cool) they can't beat the raw authentic essence of Reignwolf.
These ladies have been doing this for 11 years now. They have it dialed in.
Their just so good playing live together...you can feel the fusion in between those sister....is like when they play together they jus become one persone...the Paudanyale...😅

Just what MTV has needed for decades! As a 58yo rocker that grew up on MTV when they played music videos, I couldn't be happier to see the best rock band of this generation getting their due recognition here! These amazing sisters are the best songwriters of their generation, and a MONSTER live band! Dig into their deep catalog and you won't find a bad song. They have worked hard for many years, since they were children. They are charismatic, charming, humble, kind, generous, intelligent, energetic and exceptionally talented young ladies, who deserve to be recognized! They need Grammys and VMA awards !!
I discovered The Warning last February. Ale was the thumbnail so I thought "Hmm...she's attractive, let's see what she's about." I played the clip and it was her doing the opening riff from Disciple. I was hooked. That night I went down The Warning rabbit hole and knew this band was going places.
They didn't invent rock, they didn't re-invent it. They are reinvigorating it and making a big noise doing so. The ride is just beginning.
If it wasn't for The Warning I would not know MTV still exists.

"Beatles for Sale" was the Beatles 4th album. They weren't even close to their best work.
Having The Warning on MTV regularly makes all the sense in the world - the band plays great music that will draw in entire audiences that left decades ago! And, The Warning is quite charismatic and photogenic - which is right up MTV's alley. Hope both parties can benefit!!!
Does MTV play music videos again? I'm asking that sincerely because I haven't watched it in years. Every time I turned it on, they were showing reality TV reruns.
@jcparker500 Yeah they do, but they have a bunch of different programs nowadays, some are made exclusively for a certain decade and so on.

I remember seeing the first video on it "video killed the radio star" Oh, maybe that was MTV europe and you had something different in America. Then there was another music channel too. The Warning leads the New Wave Of Rock (NWOR) from the front. 10 year veterans with 4 albums and they are only getting started. Their live shows, regardless of venue size are something to behold. These 3 rock n roll hurricanes are amazing! Long live rock n roll!!
There is something different about the quality of Danny's voice in this version of "Automatic Sun" from the album version. It actually made my skin tingle.
Almost all of the album versions suck due to the overly poppy production. The girls make them rock when live! HYCAD is the classic example.
I agree, her voice is completely unrestrained in this version.
It’s direct and unmodified. Three minutes near the Sun and it’s medium rare.

Started as little girls playing their plastic rock band instruments to badass Rockstars taking over the rock scene. Everyone part of the warning army is so proud of DPA. Hopefully keep me fed gets nominated for rock album of the year or something. Paramore won last year. Let's do what we can for THE WARNING⚡️ to win.

@@DadQuixote7. Absolutely love this band, but “one of the best ever”? Maybe just pump the brakes a bit….. there are the bands in the past who put out some great albums, like 6 or 7 by this band called Led Zeppelin, for example, that are much deeper rooted in rock and firmly in that category.
@northof4912 Sorry, I forgot to put 'in my opinion' in my comment. By the way, in MY opinion, they are better than Led Zeppelin. I think they are better than The Rolling Stones too. You might disagree but it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.
@@DadQuixote7 In my opinion, they have not even come close to reaching the level of Led Zeppelin, and frankly I doubt they ever well because they seem to be satisfied with the 3-5 minute song formula, are moving more in the direction of pop-rock, with no where near the musical complexity of Zeppelin songs. But if you lean more to pop rock then that’s your perogative, but in no way are they better “rock” band the LZ.
Give this band the night slot with all the smoke ,lights and effects and I promise you they will blow away any headliner ..they should be the headliner and they will be very soon ..🔥🤘
One day... In fact, they had a night slot at the PalNorte festival and if you search UA-cam, you will find a few fan-made videos apart from that official video of Automatic Sun. Pau contols the video screens, stems and click tracks with the laptop behind her drumset for a long time already, but it seems as if the pyros were also synched to it. That looked fantastic!
I’ve seen it 1000 times ..it’s why I say give them that slot and they will melt faces..

The last time i saw anything of consequence on MTV was even Nirvana played unplugged… One of the most important popular musical events ever televised. I saw it live on tv back then. The Warning are also a real music power trio but healthy, positive, great influences on the younger generations, and still only 19/22/24 years old with 4 amazing full albums!
