    Thats my gripe with ditra flooring. An old lady is going to break her hip tripping on ledge entering the room.

    Are you sealing vent cover and toilet? If not what’s the point of the extra steps to waterproof? Not criticism just my ignorance of the process.

      I agree with you on the vent. But on toilet flange, yes. I’m applying a bead of kerdi fix around it. Good points 👍

    Awesome video! Have you ever use the preformed shower pans that you can put tile on that are in Lowes called Redi Base?

      That is one pan system that I have not tried yet. I could be wrong, but I thought the floor tile had to be set with epoxy?

      @@BathroomRemodelingTeacher OK I was just wondering. I don’t know anything about it to be honest with you. I was curious though because I usually use fiberglass shower base because I don’t like to make shower pans.
