I have the 5WM in the black goatskin that I got off of eBay a couple years ago. It's for sure one of the best leather Bibles there is. Those wide margins and the paper are unmatched
Thanks for your videos! I just found (and purchased) a used Oxford Brevier Clarendon wide margin! It hasn’t arrived yet, but the pictures indicate that it was printed by Oxford University Press, rather than Jongblood like the one you have. Do you have any idea if the Bibles printed by Oxford had the 52 GSM paper?
i dont know but if it has 52gsm paper you will know its a thick bible and heavy, as far as i know they only do 2 wide margins that is either 52 or the new ones are 45, but even the 45 you cant beat the paper in either bible, they are both nice bibles, let me know when it arrives, thank you for your comment and support God Bless
@@gypsylane8723 It arrived! I'm not 100% sure I'll keep it just yet. It was printed in the late 70s, so there's a few things missing that I would have liked to have: blank note paper and lined paper in the back. Also, there's stitching through the first 11 chapters of Genesis and the last 7 pages of maps have stitching through the pages, almost as if those sections are edge-lined. It's completely blank though and the pages are yellowing but in good shape considering their age.
@@vansneed7605 the extra stitching is called over cast stitching which gives the bible extra strength this is a good thing, a lot of bible dont have this they try to save money on binding a bible, read it and use it for a few days before you decide, thanks for letting me know God Bless
I don’t have that many bibles. Some of the bibles I review are friends. So my stack of bibles that I use wouldnt even fill half a shelf on a bookcase. Thanks for your support God Bless
