Regarding the CBP, they're using a scan of the old hot metal press Cameo from the 1920's. This is why you see broken letters, references, etc. It's a lot similar to the Brevier Clarendon by Allan. The current prints of Cameo by Cambridge, particularly the Blue and Green Goatskins, they're a brand new scan of the Cameo that is much easier to read. The paper CBP uses is a higher gsm than Cambridge, but Cambridge uses a higher quality paper so the gsm difference is moot. Cambridge is 28 and CBP bibles are all 32. You can tell the CBP isn't line matched and has a lot of ghosting, something I don't care for. I did however order a cameo from them on Thursday that I might use for a rebind project. I do like CBP a lot as they're actually Christians and care about the Word of God. I wish so very much CBP would bring back the Concord. I would love a personal sized Concord by them. It would be better than one by Cambridge as their personal Concord they farm out to Printcorp in Belarus and go cheap on the paper and materials. The normal size Concord however is the finest bible they make (blue goatskin - evangelicalbible.com exclusive). Nice video, cheers!
Am very sorry about your Dad. I recently received a Cameo wide margin in the ironed calfskin from CBP. Mine had the same exact print inconsistencies you pointed out. I wish I had spent the extra money for a Cambridge. Great review as always. Thank you and God bless.
@@ymshao im not sure as i dont have one, but a friend of mine does and as i remember the print in that one is a lot better, thanks for your support God Bless
Nice that it is leather lined and the water buffalo is supposed to hold up well. It is a little disappointing about the print and the margins but overall a nice bible. Thanks for sharing.
Same here. The text runs into the gutter makes it a little hard to read. But maybe in time it will stretch out a bit. Thanks for your comment and support. God Bless
With the printing being that bad, I would return that Bible and ask for a refund. I love Church Bible Publishers as I have a few of their Bibles but that is not a wide margin and the printing is really bad like I said. Sorry it took so long to reach you. Great review once again! God bless!!!
yer they did the right thing when the bible went missing for 10 months so i will be giving this bible to a person here that doesnt have one, thanks for your advice and thanks for watching GOd Bless

@@gypsylane8723 Does CBP Turquoise also have the issue of the inconsistent printing seen in CBP Cameo?
