Какое разнообразие начинок и оригинальное оформление блинчиков! Всё это пригодится для угощения гостей на Масленницу! Большое спасибо за блестящие идеи!
My usual fillings: - konfitura (traditional Polish whole fruit preserve) - my favourites are cherries, strawberries, billberries and raspberries, - puree made of roasted apples, - peanut butter, - Nutella (from time to time, not always) - and probably my favourite: twaróg based filling (you need twaróg obviously, vanilla flavoured sugar and tiny amount of sour cream or milk; during summer I also add fresh fruits like those above), (twaróg is Polish kind of quark - fresh white cheese made from slightly heated up soured milk; I heard it's tricky to buy it in English speaking countries, but it's very easy to make it at home - you need fresh milk 3,2% (not UHT) - or even better fresh unpasteurized cow milk - and just 1 or 2 days in warm place (like kitchen). BTW - twaróg is also one of the main ingredients of filling for Ruthenian pierogi (famous Polish national dish). Twaróg is also needed for sernik (popular cheese cake in Poland); twaróg isn't like cottage cheese, ricotta, or cream cheese.
@@AKitchenAdvisor You're very welcome. :-) I saw you like home-made cheese. I hope you will make twaróg one day - it's very popular in Poland, you can buy it in every grocery store in many variations (skimmed, full fat, vanilla flavoured etc.). Twaróg is often part of Polish breakfast or supper - you need twaróg, tiny bit of sour cream (in order to make whole mixture spreadable), salt and pepper - there are some variants I like the most: - with finely chopped fresh chive, - with finely chopped spring onion, - with sliced or chopped radish, - with chive and radish, - with fresh cucumber, chive and radish. ;-) I eat it from a bowl or plate, but you can spread on bread or bun with a slice of tomato. Yum.
@@AKitchenAdvisor All you need is good quality whole milk, warm place and two or three days. Here's how it should be done (I paste links to pictures shot by Polish cheese fan, so you can see how it looks like): 1. put fresh milk in a pot - put it in warm place for 24-72 hours. 1 day = sweet twaróg, 2 days = more sour taste (I recommend 2-3 days) etc. You should cover pot with some cloth. Note: if milk is pasteurized, you can speed up fermentation process by adding 2 or 3 table spoons of sour cream. How long you should wait? Depending on environment temperature. Warmer = faster of course. 23 degrees Celsius or more is good. 2. When milk is soured (fermented), we're ready for the next step. Heat up pot to 41-50 degrees Celsius (not more) - thermometer is handy, but you can also use your finger. ;) Higher temperature = bigger cheese grains. How long? You should observe how content looks like. i0.wp.com/nomart.pl/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/zsiad%C5%82e-mleko.jpg 3. When you saw this, turn off the heat and let pot cool for few hours. Then you should see something like this: i0.wp.com/nomart.pl/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/twar%C3%B3g.jpg 4. Then you have to separate whey from solids. Use cloth, gauze or something similar. Shape it into half dome or "mouse" (that's how I call rounded wedge;), squeeze, cloth should be tight. 5. Put it off for an hour, you can put some weight on it - more liquid will come off. And there you go, traditional Polish twaróg. Here's video how cheese should be shaped: ua-cam.com/video/8IB-ouw8ZB0/v-deo.html Finished twaróg: i2.wp.com/nomart.pl/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/klinek.jpg Good luck! :D
I forgot: you need about 3 liters of milk in order to get 0.5 kg of twaróg. Soured milk is a good drink during hot summer days - just shake it to rid off lumps. Kefir is very popular too.

One filling I really like is cottage cheese mix. Use a cup of cottage cheese add three tbs of sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix together. Add this filling to crepe and heat in pan until filling is warmed. Flipping once. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Delishous! Also any jelly filling, like cherry, rasberry, strawberry, grape. Top with any surup, or eat as is.
Hooray! I was waiting for your crepes fillings. It came just in time. I wish I had time to make all of them but definitely I'll make a cherry cake this weekend for my son's birthday. Thanks for sharing.
Wow what an amazing video this is definitely a UA-cam video that I will keep in my saved area. Your tutorial on the 10 best crêpe fillings all the way from savory to sweet and different ways to fold and present the crepe was just spectacular. Some of my favorite savory options was it the meat filling the salmon crêpe and the mushrooms with the eggs and cream sauce wrapped in that purse tied off with a scallion such a beautiful presentation. One more beautiful presentation was that liver crêpe cake when you cut into it the rolls and layers were just beautiful. And you know I love my sweets so I just couldn’t choose I love the apples and the cherry filling and also that homemade ricotta that you made what a spectacular video
Thanks a lot for encouraging words!!! We are very glad that you liked it. Actually we were debating about caviar as a filling and decided to exclude it for humanitarian reasons:-) Take care and happy cooking!!!
Wow, those crepes look amazing! I love the cheese-filled crepe (I love cheese, as I am sure you can tell from my casserole, haha). The salmon and cream cheese crepe caught my eye as well. The strawberries and cream look fantastic. I have never seen a crepe cake before, but that one looks great, especially with the grated chocolate on top. Thanks for sharing!
A lot of your fillings are fantastic but I would think blending the ground beef with an immersion blender would make it into a paste and that would take away from the nice texture of the crepe - then sorry, you lost me at liver filling.🤮
You saved the best for last. Yum!!
Excellent ideas, thanks for sharing.
The strawberry with whip cream was my favorite and the shape of a flower topped it! I had to create it on my own! 🍓🍓😀
