Thats my childhood summed up in one word!!!! Grotbags was fab! Greg Scott told me that Carol who played Grotbags is doing fine after a bad health scare!
Such sad news about Carol today. I was in an episode of this series - I played a Cluedo character magicked to life to help Grotbags solve a mystery in the style of Miss Marple.
Sad news indeed, yes. I hope you have happy memories of appearing in the show, and that it was as big a laugh to make as it looks! (Incidentally, it sounds like you're describing the episode called Miss Maple Syrip Solves It - one of only four that I don't have. You don't happen to have a copy lying around, do you?)
+Peter Marshall Drat. Ah, well, I'm sure there must be a copy out there somewhere, and I'll be sure to let you know if I manage to find one. What else were you in back then, by the way?
VideotapeFTW Thanks very much! Like all the Workshop children, I was in quite a bit of Central television produced stuff - an educational programme for Channel Four about television, an episode of the Upper Hand, a show set in a boarding school called Chris Cross, an episode of Woof. A couple of others as extras.
I put a bet on a horse cuz of tommie boyd on talk radio said in a very very convincing way, that it was going to win. it didn't! I miss those daytime boyd shows.
"Alas! I thought I could frolic with impunity!"15 minutes of joy! :-)
Sir...thank you SO much for uploading these absolute gems.
Grotbags is back, brats! And we're happy!
+MrDCWood You're very welcome - it just wouldn't be right to leave Grotbags languishing in the ITV vaults for all time, would it? :-)

NEVER! GROTBAGS FTW FOREVER! :)
Gosh, Grotbags was awesome, shame she died, she will forever be missed.

+Katie Fraser Oh, I do hope Carol is doing all right - she's definitely earned a long and happy retirement in my book.
Brings back happy memories, doesn't it? :-)
RIP Grotbags! Such sad news.

VideotapeFTW Unfortunately not! I lost all the recordings of me during my workshop days. I was hoping you might be able to help me track one down!

+Peter Marshall Interesting - what episode of Woof were you in? There's a small chance I may at least be able to help you out with that.
