This episode proves that Danny is canonically the strongest pink windmill kid, for fighting Grotbags all on his own, and that he's the smartest, because he always answers the questions at the post office. Thanks for listening to my TED talk
Danny managed to single-handedly beat a piece of pure bronze to a pulp and disconnect all his cables in mere seconds. When did Mike Tyson ever perform such a feat?
i still firmly believe that we were robbed - if the show had continued after emu tv, they should have brought back cassie and had her and danny lead the post office. pretty strange to think that they were possibly the most solid duo on the entire run of the show and didn’t get to do it! (i mean, obviously because they were young, but it would have been cool)
That would have been amazing - those two always had great screen chemistry. If only they'd been able to keep the format of the second Emu's Wide World series going for a few more years!
Wow, that's something to look forward to...no doubt more distant memories will stirred up once again. And a few minutes missing is better than nothing at all! Thanks again to you and to Lindsay :)
Loving all the Emu!! Just wondering do you have Emu's World Series 4 Ep's 5&6 ?? I'm quite sure that one of those episodes has the full version of 'All you need is a song' from Fame, and another song titled 'Take a melody'...? Not seen/heard these since I was 8!! Many, many thanks for finding all these videos!!
And this one too! You don't have the entire series do you?! (Or is that too good to be true:)) That's definately an Amstrad CPC 464 as well :) these shows really are perfect period snapshots aren't they? :) Many thanks again for these uploads!
I gather there were 22 episodes of EMU-TV in total, and there's been a collective effort to find them all. Between a few of us, we've uncovered tapes of most or all of 16 of them, in varying quality. The six episodes we don't have at all are: Jump Shout Boogie The Drifter That's a Plenty Really Waltzing Twilight Zone/Twilight Tone Angel No So, as you can see, this is quite a find!
I actually have at least *part* of every episode from this series. :-) Six episodes are complete, one (which I've already uploaded) is missing its ending, and sadly the final episode has about 10-15 minutes missing, and some irreparable tape damage too. I'll try to spruce it up the best I can with what's available. Of course, all credit must go to Lindsay for lending me these tapes - I'm only doing the digitising and uploading. I'll aim to get the next one up over the weekend.
!!! Now you've definitely got my attention! Dare I ask what songs are sung in the episodes you have? This is a very exciting discovery! Keep searching and see if any more turn up... :-)
I do have those two episodes, and I'll upload them as soon as I can - but the songs you mention aren't on them, I'm afraid. There was a fifth series of Emu's World in the spring of 1984 (before they went to the live format), and I'm sorry to say I don't have any recordings of those. If anyone reading this does have some of them on an old tape, *please* get in touch!
"Union of Soviet States of America"...? :-/ Someone obviously couldn't make out the original lyrics through the effects. But "US *of* A" scans perfectly, so I don't know why they didn't sing that!
Well, this *is* exciting! There are only six episodes of EMU-TV that I don't have any clips of at all, and you've just mentioned four of them! I've sent you a private message. :-) (The UA-cam inbox is well hidden these days - you need to click in the top right next to your username to find it.)

26:09 Is it me just me or is Daryl saying “go on Danny!” Just the cutest brotherly thing

Quality post office section. Am I a bit mad or did I just hear Daryl say "it's crap" at 31:40?
I _think_ he says "His crown...", referring to Boggle. But it's also possible he went rogue for a second there. ;-)
THATS DARYL?!
Wow, that's something to look forward to...no doubt more distant memories will stirred up once again. And a few minutes missing is better than nothing at all! Thanks again to you and to Lindsay :)
Kelly trips and almost falls at 28:59 , it looks like she starts laughing :)
You're very welcome - and a round of applause for Lindsay for lending me the tape, too!

Poor Claire!
Also note, "Thank you very much Alistair," Rod says to Peter.
"Bye Sarah," Rod Says to Helen
"Put that over there, Anthony," Rod Says to Neil.
"They're gonna get hot down in the U.S.S.A." - huh? The Pink Windmill Kids turning their hand at American-Soviet unity in the face of the Cold War.

No - this is after Joe left the show. Left to right is Daryl, Gianni and Nick.
@@VideotapeFTW oo, they look similar. I thought it was one last appearance for Joe like you said with Catrina.

Oh that is such a shame!! But thank you for that info - perhaps someone out there will have a copy!! :-)
I love Boggles Kingdom!
A camera, instead of Snapdragon? 🤦🏻♂️
