The full round is up on our channel. We've added subtitles too, as it's understandably difficult for the casual listener to parse every word. The competitive nature of the tournament requires this sort of masterful speed and density in a speech.
Congratulations Philippines! 🇵🇭

Thanks, we really need the subtitles esp. for David's speech. Well done, Philippines!
Btw, who was the best speaker? I know Philippines copped #2 & #8. 👏👏👏
Many people complain about him
But they don't know how important
The time he spent. In debate, you need to
Utilize your time properly or else you'll miss something and that is the importance of knowing your capability as a debater
Galing naman nila proud Philippines 🇵🇭
Congratulations AU. God Bless 💝💝💝🇭🇰
Congratulations Ateneo Debating Team!
Hard to understand. They talk too fast but pholippines is very good
Congrats Ateneo
Audio is muffled. At least add some subtitles...
It's even harder to grasp what the opposing team is saying 😂
The audio is not that good.
Bulgarian flag ba yan or Hungary, ang kalaban sa kabilang mesa.
just checked, Bulgaria ang extreme left na table.
Anong flag yung sa gitna😂
I believe its a Jewish LGBTQ Pride Flag.
hayy, wala ako maintindihan, fastest talk yata😁mas ok sana kung klarado ang pagkakasalita lalo kang hahanga, congrats pa din dahil panalo ang team ateneo👌♥️
May oras ata. Pero ganon talaga nakasanayan din. Kesa sa malumanay
pwede kaya ipadala si gloc 9 diyan?
I listened to this in 1.5x speed
😆😆😂
The best among equals!
Thumbs down cuz we cannot see the debaters.. Missed a very good debate but cannot set my eyes to see clearly.
Ateneo dsurb!! Had to do the ear equivalent of squinting haha
I like Tel Aviv’s case tho. Suprised Ateneo won this debate

foothaa ibang level nang fliptop to ah.... iba pa din yung 1950s nag dedebate 😏
😂😂LMFAO people complaining about the way they talk.
Bruh, the sound isnt best because..
Bruh, that is how it is done. They won, duh.😂
Crab mentality?
Hard to understand it's like they are eating their words. You can talk fast and be clear at the same time just open your mouth wide when talking and do proper intonations.
May 7 minutes po na time limit sa competitive debate. Plus the pressure and anxiety.
@@allenfernando6060 yes po may time limit it could be na anxiety or nervousness or lack of proper mouth muscle practice when speaking. Could be proper breathing control as well. Pero like I said you can speak fast and clear at the same time. Maybe yung audio din nila sa recording na ito hindi ganun ka clear and sa live mas naiintindihan sila. I'm commenting base on this video. Kung naintindihan mo siya good on you for having superb hearing.

@@kevinxsavagegm bakit ako manahimik? Ikaw may ari ng youtube? Baka Ikaw ang Hindi pa nakabayad ng utang. 😂
Devastating defeat
I don’t like him talking so fast. Perhaps there’s something I miss here. Is this a debate competition or a speed reading contest?
I don't like your comment. Obviously, you're missing a lot when you can't even factor in the fact that it is WUDC, the participants were given 7 minutes each to present/defend their argument while rebutting the other side's. They'd rather speak fast than miss a point. Plus, it's the argument and conclusion that matters for the judges, not the way they speak. It just needs to be comprehensible to the judges (which it OBVIOUSLY is since they won the debate).
Perhaps if you read the WUDC manual first rather than leaving a senseless comment like this you'll probably not miss something like you claim you did.
@@savthereadermore time more "L" & "K" . Maybe thats why they talk fast.
pnu naging world largest debate yan, ilang bansa b yan?
260 teams if im not mistaken from different countries all over the world
Alm mo ba yung eliminations sa competition? Bubo lng 😂😂
nonsense
it's not like you could do better tbh
Congrats Ateneo
