It’s surely interesting to hear it this way! Never been a big fan of this track due to George singing certain phrases out of key, something which is still clear from this stripped down version, but it feels so sweet and intimate like this and that forgives the rest. Darling George.

To isolate the vocals the guitar is cutting in and out, it's not how it really sounds on the recording nor how it was played.
No, it was recorded beautifully, like everything under GM's supervision. The odd underwater quality here is an artifact of the isolation process.
