Oh my goodness, what a voice ! What John did with only his voice and his guitar is just incredible. John is the best singer and songwriter of all time, most original and inventive as well.
You ain't never lied. His stripped down versions of Nowhere Man and Norwegian Wood are the absolute bomb. This is the best Across The Universe I have ever heard.
Always loved this Beatles classic. Such a shame we never got to hear a John Lennon unplugged album, going by this version of Across The Universe it would've been an instant hit...
Reverb and excessive effects ruined so many precious songs and this is an example where simplicity is a majestic jewel, Thanks to your channel for allowing to listen to all these wonders
You should do some of the Beatles solo stuff at some point too. I'd love to hear some of All Things Must Pass isolated, if you can re-verb it and make sense of it. And Lennon's greatest hits through from 70-80
There are several bootlegs that have backward guitar snippets, phasing and other neat things. Can't find them anywhere now. Could this be a Mandela Effect?
Maybe taken down? I know the version you are talking about, I have/had it on a bootleg double CD called acoustic submarine…it’s the one I kinda judge all other versions by…
Yes, that works very well. It was like John was sitting in my living room with his guitar playing for me. Fabulous.

John sure sounds great and could sure play in your livingroom or at a party. So great John we all miss you and George.RIP!

Brilliant, pure songwriter. Taken from us way too early.
@sabbracadabra8367 I totally agree. He was such an incredible, magical artist.
John Lennon’s song is so pure that I love it. The Best Version ! ❤ John was a Real Master. Thank You.:) - jon fishet
Wow. I want the fade-out on an infinite loop. So peaceful and calming.
Fabulous version of Across The Universe.
Just John's vocal and his acoustic guitar.
Thank you for posting.
✌+ 💙
This version is the best one.😊
Beautiful atmospheric
Terrific. Another brilliant song that couldn’t find space on an album until after they split.
One of my top 5 Beatles songs. Excellent job as always. I didn't notice some cord order before. Beautiful John's voice. Thanx a lot 👍🇨🇿
Nádherná písnička, miluju jí 👏👏♥️♥️
SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL !! 👍❤ LIKE IT WAS RECORDED TODAY.
This has always just hit me hard. Cheers.

Thanks , it sounds sad, but glad at he same time
Beautiful
Outstanding post. A candid peek at John in his creative state.
Awesome 🎉 thank you iso-trax for your work ❤
As fine a song as John ever wrote. Or anyone else for that matter.
Too good. We’ve got to get you to 10,000 subscribers by May 1.
Love this. I’ve always wanted to hear this stripped down and in tune, D, with his natural voice, not sped up like the original.
It was actually slowed down on the "Let it Be" album by a semitone lower.
Pure wonder!
Thanks very much for your precious work!😊
Another powerful performance

Great ❤️👍
Nice
GREATÍSSIMO!!!
i enjoy
Forever missed before the "Nothing's Gonna Change My World" was misinterpreted as both John and George singing "Jack, the Rude Taylor".

Could you separate the orchestra into a single video?
Ah, i thought you slowed down the version for charity, with the birds.
Can you upload the sitar part isolated?
Could’ve stood alone as it is on any album.
What ai do you use?
sounds normal, unlike the warbly, wobbly recording we hear on the final recording
懐かしい誰の声?
The Beatles Were Johns Band
This is nothing more than software. I know the sessions in 1967 or 1968. Challenge accepted. I WAS THERE.
🥱
Simple and beautiful. Before he got so megalomaniacal.
you're talking bout Phil Spector, right?
@@thedipperman5106 No, Mr. I invented peace John
You keep trying with this song. Why? Out yourself.
Best version….just John and his acoustic guitar
