    Some interior parts look similar to VWs from early 2000s.
    Chinese cars have come quite far in a short time. They're on a similar path as the Korean manufacturers.

    I believe the cummins ISF 2.8 is made in China at Cummins' new plant

    • @Meloadicto
      @Meloadicto 6 років тому

      Your believing is right, but Cummins have not a "new plant" but five join-venture factories in China, and they build those Cummins ISF 2.8 since 2009 (not so new!).

    My Ford Ranger 2.2 XL 4x4 double cab cost the same: Same features and similar power ( 118kw, 385nm) as the Tunland except leather. It does however have traction control, stability control, trailer sway control, hill descent control, hill start assist, standard diff lock, standard tow bar. Proven ford quality and imho better looks.
    Why would anyone consider a Tunland over the Ford

      the ford can catch fire like the ford kuga

      François: You are lucky people in your country having so good and cheap Fords, and unhappy having a greedy and short view Foton distributor. When I bought my Tunland, the Ford XLT 2200 cc, only 123 hp (against 2800 and 161 hp), was 25 % more expensive. Moreover, that Ford didn’t have any of those electronic aids you talked about, but really had a shorter (less confortable) cab.

    If you buy a Chinese truck you're just helping yourself out of a job you're kicking yourself out of your own job

    And the problem with all these Chinese imports, safety. Have a look at the NCAP safety tests, not so good for families.

    Your lack of enthusiasm says it all. If this truck does 8l/100km, then I would rather go for 2004 Hilux KZ TE which does 7/100km. Good thing it can crawl and is reliable like a Toyota

    everything about this ute is excellent except for intercooler hose burst at 180km/hr speed the aircon not so cold and I could hardly find oil and fuel replacement I said this because I owned one

    • @Meloadicto
      @Meloadicto 6 років тому +5

      Joseph: 180 km/h!!?? Did it happen in Germany? I don’t think so, because Tunlands are not sold there, but it’s the only country I know without speed limit, and only on highways (Autobahn). Pickups are not thought, designed and built for speed, and not a single motor is made to run above its rated speed. You drove it 20 km/h ABOVE the rated speed, so you got what you were looking for.

    Off-road rest was misleading. The only thing he did was let it idle up the hill. The rest was just gay music and a standard car review. Smash the piece of shit around, get it on the beach. Off road test has nothing to do with turning circles at the shops.
