Just ordered the complete DVD series. Only show I remember growing up that showed motorcycles in a positive light. Planning on buying a Kawasaki KZ100 Police bike soon. Great work tracking down the scenes. It's amazing how little things change.
Amazing work. I was living in LA when CHiPs was being filmed and fell in love with the show. You have a great channel! I did get to see them film one time when they were doing a scene by our school off the 710 freeway.
GREETINGS FROM PUERTO RICO AND THANKS FOR SHARING. THE MOTORIZED PATROL PROGRAM WAS TRANSMITTED ON WAPA TELEVISION CHANNEL 4 IN PUERTO RICO ON TUESDAYS AT 7PM IN THE NIGHT AND THEN THEY MOVED IT TO 3:30 PM IN THE AFTERNOON.
Wow.. that was pretty cool. Crazy those places are still there what 42 years later?I liked the shot at the Tilden intersection where you line up that palm tree at 7:45 .. and the same one now.
So the actual bus line is gone now? What's that originally a bus line or did they just make that for the show? It's very cool to see how some of the original buildings are still there to this day not replaced by a rite aid or something like that. Do you ever show when you do the filming like people saying hey did you know this was used in the movie or TV show? Like when you were supposed to be in Bakersfield but it was La for Philo beto's house did you tell the people hey did you know this was in every which Way but lose? I wonder how many know that they live it or once iconic filming location
The original bus line, still runs down that street. As for Philo's house, I had many people ask me where it is. I had a tough time searching online for it, until I came across some website forum that only described the general vicinity of where it might be, so I took a drive around that neighborhood. As for Iconic filming locations, only one neighbor came up to me to let me know of its status: "The Nightmare on Elm Street house"
Culver City Bus Line 1 all the way west near the end of Washington Bl. in Venice. While the bus in the scene isn't an actual Culver City Bus, the location for the stop is still there, minus a bench.
Great work on the locations. You nailed it. I loved this show.
Absolutely wonderful 💖💯 7M3 always and forever 💖

It's so cool when it's the same as it was and not a Rite Aid, bank, shopping center or apartments!

Awesome! Thank you!
Lucy's (now Cinco de Mayo) is fantastic. Screw Tito's. Longer hours and a HUGE menu.
Do you know that Tito's originally was in the Lucy's building ??
@@jeffgotlieb8781 I don't remember it, but I have heared that.
That is so cool ,i loved this show
So neat that much of it is still there and the same.
I was so into what was going on with John in the beginning i totally forgot this was a location video 😂

Eric Estrada...The super beauty...
Officer John Baker was totally self absorbed and had undiagnosed ADD. Poor Ponch. Stuck with him all those years.
Cinco’s taco’s/Lucy’s was the original location Tito’s taco’s
Amo Jon e Ponche.
SOMEONE TELL ME WHO HAD THE JOY OF BEING IN THAT MOTORIZED PATROL FILMING EVEN IF THEY HAD SEEN IT FROM A DISTANCE??? I READ THEM!!!
Also the episode "In The Best Of Families"
