Duh you don’t just come back off an injury like that and not have to get yourself back used to the speed of game the rush etc. you get more rhythm and start trusting your body the more snaps/drives you get. So why wouldn’t the narrative change the more you see him play. But he still has to work on ball placement and trusting himself to throw deep cause ray ray was open for a deep play and he didn’t take it

Man they were running the snot outta BJ. TA has some battering ram abuse juice, glad they used him BUT need to run him more. This was a game that gave me a stroke attack. Great game!

Most likely scenario for Cousins in Week 1: The Falcon training staff and medical team wanted Kirk to have all of training camp to heal. Kirk knew that wasn't going to bode well for him in Week 1, but he needed more time to heal. His leg was structurally sound for him to play in Week 1. They ran the pistol in Week 1 because it was easier for Kirk to set up in. He needed to break through the scar tissue and loosen that leg up so he could play under center and backpedal the way he needs to. He needed to get beat up some to get back into game shape. It worked for Week 2. He wasn't great (some underthrown passes, timing was off a bit on some throws, etc.) but he was much better against the Eagles. The OL was also much better.
He’ll yeah. All hail Kirk. Wait for week 5/6 to roll around. Falcons gonna be hnstoppable. Imma die hard redskins fan but I LOVE Kirk.

Jessie Bates is the best player on that defense. Maybe on the whole team. The Bengals should have paid him. I wasn’t for it at the time either because k thought we couldn’t afford it but in retrospect we could have afforded it. Jessie Bates III is the best Free Safety in the game today. He is the best by far it’s not even close.
You can always afford a player you really want. Salary cap is easily manipulated
