Uhmm no. Advertisement cost money. They get that money from people that buy their phones. So imagine instead of buying a phone where the budget wasn't focused on making a better product but focused on marketing to make you feel its an upgrade. Samsung and Apple exactly does that. 90% of their new phones budget goes to marketing the 10% os for the actual product.
How will selling phones help Huge win? Is it because you think it would be kind of a big deal?

America’s too obsessed with apple ecosystem and blue bubbles. And I understand why.
One correction: the Razr+ does not have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which was built by Samsung and prone to all kinds of overheating issues. It instead has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which was built by TSMC, and is right up there with the newest 8 Gen 2. In day to day usage, it would be extremely tough to notice the difference. It's not concerning at all- the 8+ Gen 1 is a phenomenal chip, and I'm assuming that's what helps this phone slip under the $1000 range. It's actually a brilliant move by Motorola, and it finally creates some very real competition to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip line.
I agree. It would only have been a concern if it was the non-plus version!
I stop buying sumsung phones because of heating issue ..now am using s21 ultra ..heating like ironing box ....
Lets just hope Z flip 5 isn't a $1000 phone with ip68 8 gen 2 phone because....
And the 8+ gen 1 is much more battery efficient so using it made sense with them having to use a 3800mah battery
@@bens8426 no. It has a shorter battery life than z flip 4 even with bigger mah. It's probably the other factors like the screen optimization or os optimization. It's one the reasons iphone has the best battery life despite it having smaller mah than S23Ultra
I just purchased mine on the Motorola website. Was 50 dollars cheaper plus a free pair of Bose earbuds. Not a bad deal.

im definitely upgrading to this next month , I love my Samsung z flip 3 but Samsungs change in warranty for the z flips is absolutely disgusting so even though my flip has survived 2 years, I refuse to buy the flip 5 when they now flat out refuse to fix any faults caused by a faulty device and not user carelessness.
I love this phone I've had it now for two months. Almost everyday I find something new. But be careful it is delicate. So get a case. I have the plus. But it's closer to around $1200 if you include everything. Insurance all of it . But I can't tell you how many people start asking questions when Iuse this out in public people are surprised they still make flip phones. It may not be as powerful as a iPhone but it has a lot of advantages over it.
Why does power matter on a smartphone?
Watching this on my Edge 30 Fusion Viva Magenta color, nice Video Kate, showing some features of the phone as well. I think both the models will work well, I don't see any reason for people but buying either of them if someone likes foldable phones.

I was set on getting the flip now I’m conflicted and can’t decide between the two. UPDATE: went with razr plus in blue and i love it
wish AT&T had the red when I got mine, the black is nice though
I'm concern how a protective case will even be able to go on that phone. I feel like it will cover up button functions.

I pre-ordered mine, while I’m waiting for my phone to arrive I went on Amazon. I purchased glass screen protectors for the front little screen and the camera.

@@Ninnjette- Congratulations! there are more cases now on Amazon. I just ordered my flip and will order the case and screen protectors for both screens. However, doesn't the big screen come with a screen protector installed?

I'll have to get another one because I'm still waiting, for the one I ordered before I pre-ordered the phone lol The big screen when you open it up, it has one you're not supposed to take off. The little exterior screen is what I'm worried about, that's the one I got screen protectors for. Been a few close calls.

What I do like if anything happens to the inside screen at least you still have the smaller screen to use
as someone who has been using the razr 5G since launch back in 2020, inner screen is no worries, still looks as good as when I bought it.
ill buy WHEN AND IF they make it dust and waterproof. I had terrible experiences with 1st gen model with dust sand dirt getting in the hinge even after being extremely careful.

@@FandomNerd-qu3cl I just returned the air. Screen picks up dust more than laptops with touch screens from windows. Also I picked iPhone 14 pro max

If only they updated their phones and had a refined camera. Also non existent customer support. Flagship edge 30 ultra released last year still stuck on android 12. Camera is terrible.
Camera is terrible on the 30 ultra it's great on par with oneplus 10
And please tell me what updates do besides slow the phone down.
Also, who cares if a phone is still on Android 12, it works.
@@msp5138 it's okay if you are using a budget phone and you don't really have much use for the phone apart from the basics. But if a user needs a flagship device, they are looking for the best in all areas including software support. So it may be okay for you. It may not be okay for someone who wanted these things.

@@melisasaatci true but the camera area of the back display isn't useable anyway on the Razr+...I do like the Razr+ cover screen a lot though. Flip 5 will have this odd _folder-looking_ back cover shape avoiding the cameras. Razr+ does look better. I hope the Flip 5 cover screen is _as functional_ as the Razr's.
