The only thing with this app is if you make a box that you are planning around it keeps zooming in and out of the box as it is spinning in a circle. I made a demo box for a doll and could not animated without it looking funny.
It’s so sad for the people who DON’T have an apple pencil (like me) who cannot draw in this app because you need an apple pencil I’m literally begging you guys to add an option where you can with your finger, isn’t there like (usually in other apps) a button where you can just click it and it won’t let you draw but you can zoom in, zoom out? Is it possible you guys can add that?
hello, i use the microsoft version and i've been trying to add a new canvas, but i can't seem to bring it forward or back like you're doing in the ios version. pls help
I just downloaded the app. It opens with a sample project. There is no way to remove it and start a new blank project! All demos shown shows a canvas with a drawing already in place. How do you start the app in blank, with no drawings? Please advice!
Are you using an iPad? Please go to the main menu and tap on "+ Scenes" then find the file folder where you'd like to create a file and tap on "+ Create a Scene." This will open a window where you can select from templates, one of which is a blank scene to start from scratch. Let us know if you have any questions.
@@MentalCanvas Yes, I am using an iPadPro with the latest IOS. It would be great if you guys prepare a summary manual! All the videos I’ve seen all start with a project already loaded and it was difficult to start with a blank canvas. Also, the video showing the 3 red color dancers behind some sort of wall with openings doesn’t have the “x” to exit from the canvas. What I did was to pull another video tutorial with the ”x” to exit the Vd tutorial series from inside the app. Thanks for your reply. Now, I see how to start with either a template or blank canvas. Uhm I have a question... Why is the Microsoft Windows version like waaaaaaaay worse? It doesn't even have an erase tool. Pls answer this question cause I haven't been able to find anything about it. It would be much appreciated if u guys atleast add an erase tool. Other than that I think I'll be fine. But just saying, the iOS version seems better and I'm in no position to just buy an iPad.
The Windows version does not lack any features in comparison to iOS and there is an eraser: typically with Windows pens, the eraser is on the opposite side of the stylus (like a pencil) or it’s a button on the side of the pen. If your pen does not have an eraser you can use the “E” key to toggle between drawing & erasing. You can always email us at support@mentalcanvas.com if you have questions.

Is there an eraser tool that just erases what the pencil is touching and not the whole line?

@@MentalCanvas you should really add an eraser option on the program itself not everyone uses pens
